Ինքնաշեն ժամացույցի համար ձերբակալված դեռահասի ընտանիքը 15 մլն դոլար Է պահանջում

Ամերիկացի դեռահաս Ահմեդ Մոհամեդի ընտանիքը, որը Տեխասում դպրոց Էր բերել ինքնաշեն ժամացույց եւ ձերբակալվել ոստիկանության կողմից, պահանջում Է 15 միլիոն դոլարի չափով փոխհատուցում: 14-ամյա դպրոցականին ենթարկել Էին ոստիկանական հարցաքննության եւ հեռացրել պարապմունքներից, քանի որ ուսուցիչը նրա պատրաստած ժամացույցը ռումբի տեղ Էր դրե լ: Այդ միջադեպից հետո ծնողները որոշել Էին դեռահասին տանել դպրոցից, շուտով հայտնի Է դարձել, որ նա կրթությունը կշարունակի Քաթարում, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC-ին:
Դեռահասի ընտանիքի շահերը ներկայացնող իրավաբանները հայտարարում են, որ կալանքը նրան հոգեբանական ցնցում Է պատճառել: Նրանք ներողություն են պահանջում դպրոցից, ինչպես նաեւ Իրվինգ քաղաքի իշխանություններից, որտեղ տեղի Է ունեցել միջադեպը: Փոխհատուցման մեծ մասը, իրավաբանների կարծիքով՝ պետք Է վճարի քաղաքը՝ 10 միլիոն դոլար, իսկ մնացած հինգը՝ դպրոցի խորհուրդը:
Դեռահասի կալանքը վրդովմունքի փոթորիկ Է հարուցել սոցցանցերում, Ահմեդին պաշտպան են կանգնել գիտնականներ, քաղաքական գործիչներ եւ հռչակավոր մարդիկ, ներառյալ Facebook-ի հիմնադիր Մարկ Ցուկերբերգը, ինչպես նաեւ ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Բարաք Օբաման, որը դպրոցականին հրավիրել Է Սպիտակ տուն:
Ոմանք ենթադրել են, թե նրա հեռացման պատճառը դարձել Է նրա անունը եւ մուսուլմանական դավանանքը, սակայն տեղական իշխանությունները պնդել են, թե իրենց հուզել Է սոսկ աշակերտների անվտանգությունը:
