Կյանքից հեռացել է ԳԱԱ էկոլոգանոոսֆերային հետազոտությունների կենտրոնի հիմնադիր տնօրեն Արմեն Սաղաթելյանը
SOCIETY66 տարեկան հասակում ծանր հիվանդությունից կյանքից հեռացել է ՀՀ ԳԱԱ էկոլոգանոոսֆերային հետազոտությունների կենտրոնի հիմնադիր տնօրեն, երկրաբանա-հանքաբանական գիտությունների դոկտոր, պրոֆեսոր Արմեն Սաղաթելյանը: Այս մասին NEWS.am-ը տեղեկանում է ԳԱԱ տեղեկատվական-վերլուծական ծառայությունից։
Գիտության մեջ ունեցած նվաճումների և հասարակական ակտիվ գործունեության համար Արմեն Սաղաթելյանը պարգևատրվել է Միջազգային Ակադեմիական Ռեյտինգի «Պատիվ, փառք, աշխատանք» IV աստիճանի Գեորգիևյան մեդալով (Ուկրաինա 2004), Քեմբրիջի (Մեծ Բրիտանիա) Միջազգային Կենսագրական կենտրոնի «Աշխարհի առաջատար գիտնական – 2009» նոմինացիայով, «Անանիա Շիրակացի» ՀՀ պետական մեդալով (2013):
Արմեն Սաղաթելյանն ավելի քան 180 գիտական հրապարակումների հեղինակ և համահեղինակ է, այդ թվում՝ 4 մենագրության և 6 ուսումնական, գիտամեթոդական ձեռնարկների: Նա եղել է գիտական աշխատությունների և ժողովների 9 ժողովածուների, ինչպես նաև հայերեն լեզվով «Էկոլոգիական բացատրական բառարանի» երկու հրապարակումների գլխավոր խմբագիր:
Արմեն Սաղաթելյանը ՀՀ ԳԱԱ Էկոլոգանոոսֆերային հետազոտությունների կենտրոնը ղեկավարել է 1993թ-ից, որը կատարում է կիրառական և հիմնարար հետազոտություններ էկոլոգիայի և շրջակա միջավայրի պահպանության բնագավառում:
ՀՀ գիտությունների ազգային ակադեմիան, ՀՀ ԳԱԱ էկոլոգանոոսֆերային հետազոտությունների կենտրոնը, գիտական հանրությունը սգում են անվանի գիտնականի անժամանակ մահը և իրենց ցավակցությունն են հայտնում Արմեն Սաղաթելյանի հարազատներին և գործընկերներին:
