Հայաստանի ազգային հավաքականի գլխավոր մարզիչ Արմեն Գյուլբուդաղյանցը հրաժարական է ներկայացրել զբաղեցրած պաշտոնից։ Ըստ մասնագետի՝ հրաժարականի պատճառն այն է, որ Հայաստանի հավաքականը չի կարողացել նվաճել Եվրո 2020-ի եզրափակիչ փուլի ուղեգիր։ 

«Մեկ տարի է՝ զբաղեցնում եմ Հայաստանի հավաքականի գլխավոր մարզչի պաշտոնը։ Այս ընթացքում եղել են թե՛ ուրախության, թե՛ տխրության պահեր՝ կապված հավաքականի ելույթների հետ։ Ընտրական փուլը դեռ չի ավարտվել, բայց հավաքականի գլխավոր մարզչի պաշտոնից հեռանալու բարդ որոշում եմ կայացրել, քանի որ չեմ կարողացել արդարացնել Հայաստանի հավաքականի երկրպագուների հույսերը՝ թիմին դուրս բերել Եվրոպայի առաջնության եզրափակիչ փուլ։ Այժմ մեր հնարավորությունները միայն տեսական են, և, չնայած իմ առջև ի սկզբանե նման խնդիր չէր դրվել, միշտ զգացել եմ պատասխանատվությունը։ Ցանկանում եմ շնորհակալություն հայտնել ինձ հետ այս հետաքրքիր ու բարդ ճանապարհն անցած մարզչական շտաբի ներկայացուցիչներին, բժշկական և սպասարկող անձնակազմին, ֆուտբոլիստներին, Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահին և ողջ աշխատակազմին, որոնք միշտ աջակցել և աշխատանքային լավ պայմաններ են ստեղծել։ Շնորհակալ եմ բոլոր այն երկրպագուներին, որոնք մեզ աջակցել են ամենաբարդ պահերին»։

ՀՖՖ նախագահ Արթուր Վանեցյանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Արմեն Գյուլբուդաղյանցին կատարած աշխատանքի համար։

«Մեկ տարվա ընթացքում Արմեն Գյուլբուդաղյանցն իրեն դրսևորել է որպես բարձր կարգի պրոֆեսիոնալ, նաև աչքի է ընկել իր մարդկային որակներով։ Ինձ համար շատ դժվար էր ընդունել մարզչի հրաժարականը, սակայն մեր զրույցի ընթացքում Արմեն Գյուլբուդաղյանցը չփոխեց իր որոշումը։ Վստահ եմ, որ մեր մարզչի մեկ տարվա աշխատանքը, դրված հիմքը ապագայում էլ արդյունքների կբերեն։ Շնորհակալություն եմ հայտնում Արմեն Գյուլբուդաղյանցին նվիրված աշխատանքի համար, վստահ եմ, որ դեռ կունենանք համագործակցության առիթներ»։
