ՀՀ հատուկ քննչական ծառայությունում ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 300-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասով հարուցված քրեական գործի նախաքննության ընթացքում փաստական տվյալներ են ձեռք բերվել այն մասին, որ պաշտոնատար անձինք ՀՀ սահմանադրական դատարանի նախկին նախագահ Գագիկ Հարությունյանի կողմից լիազորությունները վայր դնելու գործընթացում, խմբային շահերից ելնելով, անձամբ, ինչպես նաեւ պաշտոնատար անձ չհանդիսացող աշխատակիցների միջոցով կատարել են պաշտոնեական կեղծիքներ, հայտնում են Հատուկ քննչական ծառայության լրատվական ծառայությունից:
Նկատի ունենալով, որ բացահայտվել է առերեւույթ կատարված նոր հանցագործության դեպք, ՀՀ հատուկ քննչական ծառայությունում ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 314-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասով հարուցվել է նոր քրեական գործ, որը միացվել է իշխանությունը յուրացնելու դեպքի առթիվ հարուցված քրեական գործին:
ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 314-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասով նախատեսված հանցավոր արարք կատարելու կասկածանքով ձերբակալվել է ՀՀ ԱԺ աշխատակազմի ղեկավարի նախկին տեղակալ Ա. Բ.-ն:
