«Լուսավոր Հայաստան» խմբակցության ղեկավար Էդմոն Մարուքյանը ,Հոկտեմբերի 27- ի ողբերգությանն անդրադառնալով, իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրառում է կատարել․ 

 

«Ոչ բարով պետական այր էի: Պատերազմը հորով-մորով արել, հիմա էլ խաղաղության քարտեզն էինք գծում: Ինչ միջոցառում էր, չեմ հիշում, էս պառավը ինձ մոտեցավ: Ասաց. «Բալա ջան, զինվոր թոռս հիվանդ է, կմեռնի, կծանրանա խղճիդ վրա»: Բոլորին իրար խառնեցի: Զեկուցեցին, որ վերցրել են բուժման և մեկ ամսից մորե մեկ կլինի: Մի քանի ամսից հայ մամիկը նորից մոտս եկավ, ասաց. «Բալա ջան, թոռանս վիճակը ծանր է, կմեռնի` կծանրանա խղճիդ վրա»: Նորից հրահանգներ տվեցի, զայրացա ենթականերիս վրա. զեկուցեցին, որ ամեն ինչ լավ է, զինվորը արդեն ողջ-առողջ է: Երկու ամսից մի երկտող ստացա. «Բալա ջան, շնորհակալ եմ, թոռս մեռավ»: Դուք իմ փոխարեն ի՞նչ կանեիք: Մի քանի հոգու հերն անիծեցի, ինքս իմ հերն անիծեցի, հետո գնացի-գտա էս պառավի տունը: Հետս մի քար էի տարել: Ասացի. «Մայրիկ, վերցրու, գլխիս խփիր, ես քո թոռանը սպանեցի»: Պառավը տխուր նայեց աչքերիս մեջ, ասաց. «Բալա ջան, զգույշ եղիր, քեզ հետ մի բան կպատահի, կծանրանա էս երկրի խղճին»:
