Սերժ Սարգսյանն ու ԱՄՆ դեսպանը հանդիպել են (ֆոտո)

Հայաստանի Հանրապետական կուսակցության կենտրոնական գրասենյակում այսօր՝ նոյեմբերի 5-ին տեղի է ունեցել ՀՀԿ նախագահ, ՀՀ 3-րդ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի և Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Լին Թրեյսիի հանդիպումը` վերջինիս նախաձեռնությամբ: Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել են ՀՀԿ ԳՄ և ԱՄՆ դեսպանության ներկայացուցիչներ: Այս մասին հայտնում են ՀՀԿ գրասենյակից։
«Ես արժևորում եմ ԱՄՆ դեսպանատան երկարամյա հարաբերությունները Հայաստանի քաղաքական կուսակցությունների, այդ թվում՝ ՀՀԿ-ի հետ։ Միացյալ Նահանգները շարունակում է հավատարիմ մնալ Հայաստանի ժողովրդավարական, տնտեսական ու սոցիալական կառավարմանն աջակցելու իր հանձնառությանը, ինչպես դա եղել է մեր դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների 27 տարիներին»,-ասել է դեսպան Թրեյսին:
Հանդիպման ընթացքում դեսպանը ՀՀԿ նախագահից հետաքրքրվել է Հանրապետական կուսակցության առաջիկա ծրագրերով ու գործունեության ուղղություններով և հավաստիացրել, որ այսուհետ նման հանդիպումներ պարբերաբար կնախաձեռնվեն:
Դեսպան Թրեյսիի խնդրանքով Սերժ Սարգսյանը ներկայացրել է նաև Հայաստանի ներքաղաքական իրավիճակը, առկա մտահոգությունները, դրանց վերաբերյալ ՀՀԿ դիրքորոշումները, անդրադարձել տնտեսության և անվտանգության խնդիրներին ու մարտահրավերներին, ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորման բանակցային գործընթացի ներկա վիճակին, ինչպես նաև հայ-ամերիկյան հարաբերությունների զարգացման հեռանկարին:
Սերժ Սարգսյանը հանդիպման պատեհ առիթով շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ԱՄՆ Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության Միացյալ Նահանգների դիրքորոշումը հաստատող թիվ 296 բանաձևի ընդունման կապակցությամբ:
«Հայաստանի իրական ժողովրդավարացումն այլընտրանք չունի: Մենք երկար տարիներ աշխատել ենք այդ ուղղությամբ` միաժամանակ կառուցելով փոխշահավետ գործընկերային հարաբերություններ, այդ թվում՝ ԱՄՆ-ի հետ: Իրական ժողովրդավարությունն է աշխարհում շատ պետությունների համար լրջագույն մարտահրավեր դարձած պոպուլիզմի պատասխանը: Մեր կուսակցության համար շարունակելու են գերակա մնալ Հայաստանի և Արցախի անվտանգության, տարածաշրջանում կայունության և խաղաղության հարցերը», - ասել է Սերժ Սարգսյանը:
