Կլիմայի փոփոխության դեմ պայքարում կարեւոր է այդ հարցով երիտասարդության իրազեկվածության բարձրացումը: Այս մասին Փարիզում ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի 40-րդ Գլխավոր կոնֆերանսի շրջանակում «Ուսման վերաիմաստավորումը» քննարկման ընթացքում հայտարարեց ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը:
«Չի կարելի ասել, թե մեր երիտասարդ սերունդը լիովին իրազեկված է կլիմայի փոփոխության մասին: Կարեւոր է իրազեկվածության բարձրացումը: Մեր երկրի բնակչությունը մոտ 3 մլն է, եւ 2020-ին մենք մտադիր ենք Հայաստանում 10 մլն ծառ տնկել: Դա կլինի կլիմայի փոփոխության դեմ պայքարում մեր ներդրումը»,- հայտարարեց նա:
Խոսելով երիտասարդության մասին՝ Փաշինյանը նշեց, որ Հայաստանում երիտասարդությունը լիովին ներգրավված է երկրում որոշումների ընդունման գործընթացին: «Մեր կառավարությունում կա նախարար, որը 27 տարեկան է: Մենք նաեւ երիտասարդ խորհրդարան ունենք»,- նշեց նա:
Փաշինյանը նշեց, որ կառավարությունն առաջին հերթին պետք է աշխատի տարբեր գյուղերում երեխաների համար հնարավորություններ ստեղծելու ուղղությամբ: «Մենք հեռահար ուսուցման որոշակի մեթոդների փորձարկման փուլում ենք գտնվել, եւ մենք նոր տեխնոլոգիաները կկիրառենք այդ նպատակի համար»,- հավելեց նա:
Նրա կարծիքով՝ կրթությունը բոլոր խնդիրների, ներառյալ կլիմայի փոփոխության խնդրի լուծման գլոբալ ռազմավորությունն է:
