Կալիֆոռնիայի նահանգի Գերագույն դատարանն աջակցել է ԱՄՆ նախագահ, հանրապետական Դոնալդ Թրամփի կողմնակիցների դիրքորոշմանը, որին ցանկանում էին պարտավորեցնել բացել հարկային հայտարարագրերը 2020 թվականի ընտրություններին մասնակցելու համար, տեղեկացնում է ՌԻԱ «Նովոստի»-ն։

Նահանգի, որտեղ սովորաբար աջակցում են դեմոկրատներին, օրենսդիրները համապատասխան նորմն ընդունել էին այս տարի ավելի վաղ՝ հուսալով, որ դա կստիպի Թրամփին բացել իր եկամուտները, ինչը նա հրաժարվում է անել արդեն մի քանի տարի։ Ի պատասխան՝ Հանրապետական կուսակցության տեղի բաժանմունքի ղեկավար Ջեսիկա Փաթերսոնը հայց է ներկայացրել Գերագույն դատարան, որը հինգշաբթի նահանգում մտցված նորմը համարել է «անվավեր՝ Կալիֆոռնիայի սահմանադրության հիման վրա»։

Թրամփի հակառակորդները դեռեւս անցած ընտրարշավից փորձում են հասնել այն բանին, որպեսզի նա հրապարակի իր հարկային հայտարարագրերը, նրանք հույս ունեն դրանում ինչ-որ խախտումներ գտնել։ Բայց քաղաքական գործիչը մինչեւ վերջ հրաժարվում է անել դա՝ ասելով, որ պարտավոր չէ։ Իր համառությամբ նա պատրաստ էր հասնել մինչեւ երկրի Գերագույն դատարան։

Այնուամենայնիվ, հինգշաբթի Twitter-ում նախագահը խոստացել է, որ կհրապարակի ֆինանսական հաշվետվությունը «մի առիթով, մինչեւ ընտրությունները»։ Նախագահական ընտրություններն ԱՄՆ-ում տեղի են ունենալու 2020 թվականի նոյեմբերի 3-ին։
