Տավուշի մարզի Ազատամուտի համայնքապետ Վահագն Ալավերդյանը բաց նամակ է հղել ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին։ Նա ցանկանում է, որ Ազատամուտը համայնքից վերածվի քաղաքի։ Համայնքապետը NEWS.am-ի հետ զրույցում նշել է, որ համայնքն ունի բոլոր նախադրյալները քաղաք դառնալու։
Նամակում, մասնավորապես, ասվում է.
Տավուշի մարզի Ազատամուտ համայնքը խորհրդային կարգերի ժամանակ ուներ քաղաքատիպ ավանի կարգավիճակ, իր տեսակով ավելի մոտ էր քաղաքին, քանի որ ուներ 22 բազմաբնակարան շենք եւ քոթեջներ, հարեւանությամբ «Բենտոնիտ» գործարանն էր, չուներ սեփական հողատարածքներ: Անկախությունից հետո, ի հեճուկս այս ամենի, համայնքին տրվեց գյ
ուղի կարգավիճակ, ու մենք դարձանք երեւի միակ գյուղը, որտեղ միայն շենքեր են, ու միակ գյուղացին, որ չունի սեփական հող:
Նախկին կառավարություններն անտեսեցին մեր բոլոր աղերսները՝ շտկելու այս ցցուն անճշտությունն ու անհամապատասխանությունը…
Թավշյա հեղափոխությունը նոր հորիզոններ բացեց համայնքի համար… Վերջին մեկ տարվա ընթացքում Տավուշի մարզում իրականացվել են 18 սուբվենցիոն ծրագրեր, որոնցից երեքը՝ մեր համայնքում, բուռն վերելք է ապրում համայնքային կրթական ու մշակութային կյանքը, արդեն ունենք ուսանողական անվճար փոխադրամիջոց, հիմնել ենք «Բենտոնիտ» ֆուտբոլային ակումբը, որն արդեն մասնակցում է ՀՀ առաջնությանը՝ գրանցելով տպավորիչ արդյունքներ, ունենք նաեւ բռնցքամարտի, շախմատի ու կարատեի խմբեր, մեր պարուհիները չեն դադարում շատ բեմերից բոլորին հիացնել իրենց ավանդական լեռնապարով : Բարեկամական կապեր են հաստատվել համայնքի ու ֆրանսիական Մոնտելիմար քաղաքի միջեւ, բնակչությունը, հակառակ շատ համայնքների, հաստատուն աճում է….
Համայնքը գրավիչ է դարձել նաեւ տեղական ներդրողների համար. արդեն գործում են կոշիկի, թխվածքի, իսկ շատ մոտ ապագայում՝ կարի արտադրամասերը…
