Ինչպե՞ս Ճապոնիային հաջողվեց նվազեցնել սիգարետի վաճառքը․ փաստեր

Մինչև 2014 թվականը Ճապոնիայում սիգարետի վաճառքի ծավալը տարեկան նվազում էր միջինում 2%-ով, իսկ 2014 թվականից հետո սկսեց նվազել 10%-ով՝ առանց հակածխախոտային պայքարում փոփոխություններ կատարելու։ ԱՄՆ-ում ուսումնասիրվել է հաջողության այս պատմությունը՝ հետագա կիրառման ակնկալիքով։ Հետազոտության արդյունքները փաստում են, որ ազգային մակարդակով սիգարետի վաճառքի նվազումը հնարավոր չէ բացատրել մեկ այլ գործոնով, բացի ծխախոտի տաքացման համակարգերի վաճառքի մեկնարկից։
Ամերիկայի Օնկոլոգիական Միության հետազոտական թիմը ուսումնասիրել է Ճապոնիայում սիգարետի վաճառքի կտրուկ անկումը 2012-2018 թվականներին։ Հետազոտության արդյունքում պարզվել է, որ ազգային մակարդակով սիգարետի վաճառքի նվազումը պայմանավորված է ծխախոտի տաքացման համակարգի (IQOS) վաճառքի մեկնարկով։
Հետազոտական թիմը համեմատել է ծխախոտի տաքացման համակարգի վաճառքի մեկնարկի ու սիգարետի վաճառքի նվազման ժամանակաշրջանները։ Պարզվել է, որ սիգարետի վաճառքը սկսել է նվազել IQOS-ի վաճառքը մեկնարկելուց մի քանի ամիս անց։ Հետաքրքիր է, որ սիգարետի վաճառքի նվազումը ավելի ուշ է նկատվել այն համայնքներում, որտեղ ծխախոտի տաքացման համակարգն ավելի ուշ է ներկայացվել։
Առանց այրման նիկոտին մատակարարող այլընտրանքի շնորհիվ բազմաթիվ ծխողներ Ճապոնիայում հրաժարվել են սիգարետ ծխելուց։ Կարևոր է նաև այն, որ ճապոնացի օգտատերերի ճնշող մեծամասնությունը (98%) նախկինում սիգարետ կամ ծխախոտային այլ արտադրանք օգտագործող են եղել։ Այսինքն՝ արտադրանքը չծխողների շրջանակներում հետաքրքրություն չի առաջացնում։
Ճապոնիայի այս հաղթանակը հակածխախոտային պայքարում կարող է ուսուցողական լինել նաև այլ երկրների համար. չէ՞ որ առկա գիտական տվյալները հաստատում են, որ ամբողջությամբ առանց այրման այլընտրանքի անցում կատարելը ավելի քիչ ռիսկ է ներկայացնում առողջությանը, քան սիգարետ ծխելը։ Իհարկե, սա չի նշանակում, որ ծխախոտի տաքացման համակարգերը անվտանգ են, բայց եթե ծխողը չի ցանկանում հրաժարվել սիգարետից, հանրային առողջապահության տեսանկյունից այս արտադրանքը լավ այլընտրանք է։
