Գործողությունների ծրագրի շրջանակում Եվրամիությունը Հայաստանին հատկացրել է 69 մլն եվրո էներգաարդյունավետության բարձրացման ծրագրերի համար։ Այս մասին «Վայք եւ Սպիտակ քաղաքների վերականգնվող էներգիայի եւ էներգիայի արդյունավետ օգտագործման հնարավորությունները» նախագծի փակման ժամանակ նոյեմբերի 30-ին ասաց Հայաստանում ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավար Անդրեա Վիկտորինը՝ ավելացնելով, որ աջակցությունն այս ուղղությամբ կշարունակվի։

 

Նրա խոսքով՝ էներգետիկան այն ոլորտներից է, որը համագործակցության կարեւորագույն բաղադրիչներից է Հայաստանի եւ Եվրամիության միջեւ համապարփակ եւ ընդլայնված գործընկերության համաձայնագրի շրջանակում։

 

Նա ավելացրել է, որ «Վայք եւ Սպիտակ քաղաքների վերականգնվող էներգիայի եւ էներգիայի արդյունավետ օգտագործման հնարավորությունները» ծրագրի շրջանակում նորոգվել է 45 շենք՝ 1 մլն եվրո գումարով։

 

«Բացի այդ, տեղադրվել են 5 արեւային ֆոտովոլտային կայաններ (1՝ Սպիտակում 4՝ Վայքում) հանրային նշանակության շենքերի վրա։ Ծրագրի շահառուներ են դարձել 1160 մարդ Սպիտակում եւ 2640 մարդ Վայքում»,- նշել է Անդրեա Վիկտորինը։

 

ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավարն ընդգծել է, որ վերականգնվող էներգիայի ոլորտի զարգացումը թույլ կտա Հայաստանին նվազեցնել կախվածությունը ներկրվող էներգակիրներից, ինչպես նաեւ աջակցել կլիմայի վրա բացասական ազդեցության նվազեցման ջանքերին։
