Դեկտեմբերի 1-ը ՁԻԱՀ-ի դեմ պայքարի համաշխարհային օրն է

ՁԻԱՀ (Ձեռքբերովի իմունային անբավարարության համախտանիշ)-ի դեմ պայքարի համաշխարհային օր-ի դեմ պայքարի համաշխարհային օրը (World AIDS Day) ամեն տարի աշխարհում նշվում է դեկտեմբերի 1-ին՝ Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության եւ ՄԱԿ Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 1988թ․ որոշման համաձայն, գրում է Calend.ru-ն։
Այդ օրը դարձել է ամենակարեւոր միջազգային օրերից մեկը, որը կապված է առողջապահության եւ տեղեկացվածության բարձրացման ամենակարեւոր հնարավորություններից մեկի՝ հիվանդությունից մահացածների հիշատակը հարգելու, եւ բուժման հասանելիության ընդլայնման ու պրոֆիլակտիկայի միջոցների ձեռքբերումները նշելու հնարավորության հարցերի հետ։
1981թ․ հունիսի 5-ին Հիվանդությունների վերահսկման ամերիկյան կենտրոնը գրանցեց նոր հիվանդություն՝ ՁԻԱՀ։ Դա ծանր վիճակ է, որը մարդու մոտ զարգանում է ՄԻԱՎ-ի երկարատեւ ընթացքի հետեւանքով արտահայտված իմունոդեֆիցիտի ֆոնին։
ՁԻԱՀ-ի դեմ պայքարի օրն առաջին անգամ նշվել է 1988թ․ դեկտեմբերի 1-ին՝ այն բանից հետո, երբ բոլոր երկրների առողջապահության նախարարների հանդիպման ժամանակ ՄԻԱՎ/ՁԻԱՎ-ի հանդեպ սոցիալական հանդուժողականության եւ տեղեկատվության փոխանակման ընդլայնման կոչ հնչեց։
Կազմակերպության տվյալներով՝ այսօրվա դրությամբ աշխարհում 37,9 մլն մարդ վարակված է ՄԻԱՎ-ով, եւ նրանց քառորդ մասը չգիտի այդ մասին։ Բայց չէ՞ որ իր կարագավիճակի մասին իմանալը ՄԻԱՎ-ի բուժման եւ պրոֆիլակտիկայի ճանապարհին առաջին քայլն է։
