Երբ Հայաստանում իշխանափոխություն տեղի ունեցավ, ես մտածում էի, որ կլինի մի տեղ, որտեղ քաղաքական մրցակցությունը չի վերածվի քաղաքական ատելության: Այս մասին այսօր` դեկտեմբերի 2-ին հրավիրված մամուլի ասուլիսին, ասաց Հայաստանի Հանրապետական կուսակցության փոխնախագահ Արմեն Աշոտյանը:

 

«Երբ  Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցավ իշխանափոխություն, ես պատկանում էի այն տուժած միամիտների շարքին, որոնց թվում էր, թե դե լավ` ինչ եղավ-եղավ, էս սաղ սեւ լենտերը իրանց կպնի՝ կոպիտ ասած, բայց կա երկիր, որը պետք է միասին կառուցենք: Եւ դրա համար մտածում էինք, որ կարող է լինի մի վայր, որտեղ քաղաքական մրցակցությունը չի վերածվի քաղաքական ատելության եւ կարող ենք մարդա մեր ուսերի լայնքով եւ երկարությամբ խաչ տանել: Դե, եկան մարդիկ, որոնք ընդհանրապես խաչի արժեքը չգիտեն, հետեւաբար ինչ են իրենք տանում իրենց ուսերին այլեւս ինձ համար տանելու չի: Եւ ավելին ասեմ, այս մարդկանց պետք չի օգնել, երբ իրեն ասում ես` արի օգնեմ, իրեն թվում է կամ ինքը էդքան կա` իրեն օգնում ես, կամ դու շատ ես ուզում իրեն լավամարդ լինել»,-ասաց Աշոտյանը շեշտելով, որ այսուհետեւ գործող իշխանություններին օգնելու են միայն հրապարակավ դիմելու դեպքում:

 

 

Աշոտյանը հավելեց, որ ՀՀԿ-ն առանց դիմելու էլ է օգնում եւ դրա օրինակն է այն, որ այս տարի Քրիստոնեա-դեմոկրատական միությունը ճանաչեց Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, մինչդեռ իրենց ոչ ոք դրա համար չէր դիմել:

 

«Ավելին ասեմ` իրենք դա մամուլից իմացան, հետո ես ում որ պետք է՝ աել եմ, տղերք, սա կարեւոր թուղթ է, վերցրեք էս թուղթը, գնացեք այն երկրները, որտեղ այդ միության անդամները կան` Ինդոնեզիայից մինչեւ Չիլի, ու փորձեք ձեր դեսպաններին տալ, ասեք ձեր իշխող կամ ընդդիմադիր ուժն այս թղթի տակ ստորագրել է, որ ճանաչել է Ցեղասպանությունը, առաջ տարեք այդ գործը»,- ասաց նա:
