Վառվել են Նյու Յորքի սուրբծննդյան գլխավոր տոնածառի լույսերը
INTERNATIONAL NEWSՆյու Յորքի սուրբծննդյան տոնածառի լույսերը վառելու ամենամյա արարողությունը տեղի է ունեցել չորեքշաբթի քաղաքի կենտրոնում, տեղեկացնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։
60 տարեկան եւ 23 մետրից ավելի բարձրություն ունեցող ծառը, որը տեղադրվել է Ռոքֆելեր-փլազա հրապարակում, զարդարվել է հսկայական զարդաշղթաներով, որոնց ընդհանուր երկարությունը կազմում է մոտ 8 կիլոմետր։ Դրանց վրա տեղադրված են 50 հազար գունավոր լույսեր։ Գագաթին հսկայական 70 անկյունանի բյուրեղյա աստղն է՝ մոտ 450 կիլոգրամ քաշով։ Այն ստեղծել են 3 մլն բյուրեղներից ավստրիական Swarovski ընկերության վարպետները։
ԱՄՆ-ում ավանդական սուրբծննդյան սեզոնն սկսվում է այն օրը, երբ Ռոքֆելեր-փլազայի տոնածառի լույսերը վառվում են։ Ակնկալվում է, որ այդ ընթացքում ծառի մոտ ամեն օր կգա մոտ կես միլիոն մարդ։ Ծառը մեգապոլիսի կենտրոնում կմնա մինչեւ 2020 թվականի հունվարի 14-ը, ինչից հետո կուղարկեն փայտասղոցման։
Նյու Յորքի գլխավոր սուրբծննդյան տոնածառը տեղադրել են նոյեմբերի 9-ին։ Ծառը մեգապոլիսին է նվիրել Նյու Յորքի բնակչուհի Քերոլ Շուլցը։
Ռոքֆելեր-փլազայում սուրբծննդյան տոնածառի տեղադրման ավանդույթը սկսվել է 1930-ական թվականներից։ Ռոքֆելեր կենտրոնը կառուցող բանվորներն առաջին անգամ 1931 թվականին տոնական ծառը տեղադրեցին հենց շինհրապարակում։ Այն ժամանակ վեց մետրանոց տոնածառը զարդարել էին թղթե զարդաշղթաներով եւ անտառային հատապտուղներով։ Լույսերը վառելու առաջին արարողությունը տեղի է ունեցել 1933-ին, այդ ժամանակվանից անտառի գեղեցկուհին սկսել են զարդարել էլեկտրական շղթաներով։ 1997-ից Նյու Յորքի գլխավոր տոնածառի լույսերի վառման արարողությունը ցուցադրվում է ուղիղ եթերով։
