«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «Նախօրեին Երեւանի Նորք-Մարաշ վարչական շրջանում հանցավոր խմբավորման բացահայտման լուրին հաջորդած հասարակական արձագանքը Հայաստանի իշխանական համակարգի եւ իրավապահների վերջին մեկուկես տասնամյակի գործունեության ամենավառ գնահատականն է:
Փաստորեն, ոչ ոք իրավապահների հաղորդած տեղեկությանը չի հավատում, եւ բոլորը փորձում են հասկանալ, թե ԱԱԾ-ն ու ոստիկանությունն այս անգամ ինչ խարդախություն են փորձում գլուխ բերել, եւ ընդդիմադիրներից ում դեմ է այն շրջվելու:
«Ժողովուրդ»-ի իշխանական աղբյուրները պնդում են, որ կալանավորված խումբը ծրագրել է կառավարության, խորհրդարանի եւ նախագահականի վրա հարձակումներ իրականացնել: Բայց այդ մասին հրապարակային չեն հայտարարում, քանի որ Հայաստանի հանրությունը, միեւնույն է, չի հավատա կամ էլ ավելի վատ, կարող է՝ պարզվի, որ մարդիկ նման ծրագրերը ողջունում են: Այս ամենից առաջին հերթին հենց իշխանությունները պետք է հետեւություն անեն եւ գիտակցեն, որ սա իրենց գործունեության արտացոլումն է»:
