Առկա գեոպոլիտիկ իրավիճակում «ժողովրդավարությունը» որպես արտաքին քաղաքական դոկտրին հռչակած Փաշինյանը ակնհայտորեն կորցրել է բանակցային գործընթացի նկատմամբ խելամիտ ազդեցության լծակները՝ մեզ կանգնացնելով իր տգիտության և կարճատեսության «հաշիվը փակողի» կարգավիճակում:

Ինչքան շուտ գիտակցես, խիզախություն ունենաս և ընդունես, որ մենակով ի վիճակի չես, սխալական ես ու անտաղանդ, այդքանով շանս կունենաս նվազեցնելու քո պոռոտախոսության ու հանցավոր ինքնահավանության քայքայիչ և կործանարար ազդեցությունը երկու հայկական պետությունների վրա:
