8-ամյա Քրիսի Թըրները ամենափոքր հիվանդներից է, ում կուրծքը հեռացնելու են հազվադեպ հանդիպող կրծքի քաղցկեղի պատճառով: Փոքրիկը բազմաթիվ «պահապան հրեշտակներ» ունի: Նրա շուրջ են միավորվել ընկերներ ու անծանոթներ աշխարհի մի շարք ծայրերից, այդ թվում՝ Գերմանիայից, Հոնգկոնգից:
Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է Past.am-ը նրանք երեխայի վիրահատության և հետվիրահատական բուժման համար գումար են տրամադրել: Վիրահատությունը տեղի է ունենալու «Հանթսմեն» ուռուցքաբանական ինստիտուտում:
Հոկտեմբերին հանգիստ, կապուտաչյա փոքրիկի մոտ հայտնաբերել են հազվադեպ հանդիպող և դանդաղ զարգացող քաղցկեղ: «Մենք կանգնելու ենք նրա կողքին և ջախջախելու ենք հիվանդությունը»,- ասել է նրա մայրը: Ընտանիքի ընկերներից մեկը հայտնել է, որ ընդամենը մի քանի շաբաթվա ընթացքում 30.000 դոլար է հավաքվել: Սա արդեն երրորդ դեպքն է այս ընտանիքում: Նրա մայրը հաջողությամբ բուժվել է պարանոցի քաղցկեղից 2000թ., հայրը՝ 2008թ. արյան հանգույցների քաղցկեղից: Դեղամիջոցների ծախսերի պատճառով ընտանիքը սնանկացել է 2013թ.:
Ընտանիքի ընկերը պատմում է. «Երեկ, երբ տուն գնացի, 364 էլեկտրոնային նամակ ունեի: Անգլիացի մի դոնոր 1000 դոլար է փոխանցել: Մի ուրիշ կին երեկ 18 դոլար է հատկացրել: Քրիսին սկզբում գունդ է հայտնաբերել կրծքի վրա, բայց այնքան վախեցած է եղել, որ չի հայտնել ծնողներին: Բժիշկն ասել է, որ ամենայն հավանականությամբ այն բարորակ է: Նա ասել է, որ առաջին անգամ է կրծքի քաղցկեղի հանդիպում այսքան երիտասարդ տարիքում: Նա բացատրել է, որ այն ավելի տարածված է պատանեկան շրջանի երեխաների մոտ, բայց դրա զարգացումը նախքան սեռական հասունությունը տարօրինակ է:
Ընտանիքի երկրորդ՝ 16-ամյա դուստրը թեստավորում կանցնի ժառանգական քաղցկեղի պատճառով: Քրիստիի հայրական պապիկը նույնպես մահացել է քաղցկեղից՝ լեյկոզից: Ընտանիքը փորձում է շեղել նրա ուշադրությունը, անընդհատ զբաղեցնում է նրան, խաղում հետը, բայց երեխան երբեմն լացում է ու արտահայտում իր վախը: Նրանք հավատում են, որ «պահապան հրեշտակները» կբուժեն իրենց երեխային:
