Կյանքից հեռացել է երաժշտագետ Ռուբեն Ավետի Տերտերյանը։
Ռուբեն Տերտերյանը 150-ից ավելի գիտական և հրապարակախոսական հոդվածների հեղինակ է, որոնք հրատարակվել են գիտական ժողովածուներում, ամսագրերում և թերթերում՝ Երևանում, Մոսկվայում, Բունեոս-Այրեսում, Կուենկայում, Կիտոյում (հայերեն, ռուսերեն, իսպաներեն, անգլերեն լեզուներով), ինչպես նաև՝ 30-ից ավելի ռադիո և հեռուստահաղորդումների:
1982-1994 և 2011-2014 թթ. Ռուբեն Տերտերյանը դասավանդել է Երևանի Կոմիտասի անվան պետական կոնսերվատորիայում, 2011-2014 թթ. եղել է ԵՊԿ պրոռեկտոր:
1983-1985 թթ. Ռուբեն Տերտերյանը եղել է ՀԽՍՀ Կոմպոզիտորների միության ավագ խորհրդատու, 1985-1988 թթ. վարել է Հայաստանի պետական ֆիլհարմոնիայի փոխտնօրենի պաշտոնը, 1989-1993 թթ.՝ Հայհամերգին կից «Դերասան» համերգների կազմակերպչական կոոպերատիվի տնօրենի պաշտոնը: 1995-2000 թթ. Բուենոս Այրեսի (Արգենտինա) Հայ կենտրոնի թատերախմբում աշխատել է որպես երաժշտական ձևավորող, 2003-2010 թթ. դասավանդել է Կուենկայի (Էկվադոր) համալսարանի Արվեստի ֆակուլտետում։ 2004-2008 թթ. եղել է Կուենկայի համալսարանի Երաժշտական բաժնի տնօրենը, 2008-2010 թթ.՝ Կուենկայի համալսարանի Երաժշտական կրթության մագիստրատուրայի տնօրեն, 2009-2010 թթ.՝ Էկվադորի կաթոլիկ համալսարանի Կիտո քաղաքի (Էկվադոր) Երաժշտական կրթության մագիստրատուրայի տնօրեն։
