Շուրթերին առաջացած հերպեսի դեպքում կարելի է թանձրատերևուկի մի քանի տերևից հյութ քամել և յուրաքանչյուր կես ժամը մեկ բամբակով այդ հյութը քսել վերքին:
Անգինայի և տոնզիլիտի դեպքում թանձրատերևուկի տասը տերևներից հյութ քամել, խառնել 200մլ ջրի հետ և օրվա մեջ 3-5 անգամ ողողել բերանը:
Ստամոքսի և տասներկումատյա աղիքի խոցի դեպքում սնվելուց մեկ ժամ առաջ խորհուրդ է տրվում թանձրատերևուկի երկու տերև ուտել՝ հանգիստ ծամելով:
Պիելոնեֆրիտի և ցիստիտի դեպքում կարելի է թանձրատերևուկի հինգ տերևները կտրատել, լցնել 200 մլ եռացող ջրի մեջ, թողնել մեկ ժամ, որպեսզի հանգստանա:
Օրվա մեջ սնվելուց առաջ երեք անգամ օգտագործել 1թգ ստացված զանգվածից:
Արթրիտի և արթրոզի դեպքում անհրաժեշտ է թանձրատերևուկի 10-15 տերևներից հյութը քամել և քնելուց առաջ քսել ցավացող հոդերին:
Հեմորոյի դեպքում կարելի է մեկ տերևը կտրել մեջտեղից և դնել վերքին. Օգնում է անմիջապես:
Այրվածքների, վնասվածքների, կտրվածքների դեպքում կարելի է թանձրատերևուկի տերևներից կաշայի պես զանգված ստանալ ու ամեն երկու ժամը մեկ բինտով կապել վնասված մակերեսի վրա:
