SOCIETYՎերջին տասը տարին դիտարկումների պատմության մեջ երկրագնդի վրա ամենաշոգ տասնամյակն էր, ընդ որում անցյալ տարին երկրորդ ամենաշոգ տարին էր։ Այս մասին հաղորդելով՝ ՆԱՍԱ-ն հայտարարել է, թե «դուք դեռ ոչինչ չեք տեսել»։
ՆԱՍԱ-ն եւ Օվկիանոսային ու մթնոլորտային հետազոտությունների ազգային վարչությունը հայտնել են, որ 2010-ականներին միջին ջերմաստիճանը կազմել է 14,7՝ ըստ Ցելսիուսի։ Այդ ժամանակահատվածում եղել են տասը ամենաշոգ տարիները դիտարկումների պատմության ողջ ընթացքում, հայտնում է «Ամերիկայի ձայնը»։
Ռեկորդային բարձր ջերմաստիճան է գրանցվել 2019թ․՝ Աֆրիկայի, Ասիայի, Ավստրալիայի, Եվրոպայի եւ Հարավային Ամերիկայի որոշ շրջաններում։ Ալյասկայում միջին ջերմաստիճանը առաջին անգամ զրոյից բարձր է եղել։
Շատ կլիմայագետներ, որոնք ծանոթացել են հետազոտությանը, ասում են, որ նման ռեկորդային տաքացում կարող էր լինել միայն մարդու գործունեության հետեւանքով։
«Դա կլինի մի մասը նրա, ինչ մենք կտեսնենք ամեն տարի, մինչեւ չկարգավորենք ջերմոցային գազերի արտանետումները։ Մենք տաքացման ցուցանիշը 2015թ․ հատել ենք 2 աստիճանով՝ ըստ Ֆորենհեյթի (1,11՝ ըստ Ցելսիուսի) եւ հազիվ թե հետ վերադառնանք։ Դա ցույց է տալիս, որ տեղի ունեցողը մշտական երեւույթ է, այլ ոչ թե եղանակային փոփոխությունների հետեւանքով ֆլուկտուացիա»,- հայտարարել է ՆԱՍԱ-ի տիեզերական հետազոտությունների ինստիտուտի ղեկավար Գեյվին Շմիդտը։
Փորձագետներն ասում են, որ մթնոլորտի տաքացման այնպիսի բնական պատճառներ, ինչպիսին են Արեւից ավելի շատ ջերմություն ստանալը եւ կլիմայի տատանումը, բավարար չէ՝ բացատրելու համար ջերմաստիճանի երկարաժամկետ բարձրացումը։
Նրանց, ովքեր դեռեւս կասկածում են գլոբալ տաքացման մեջ, գիտնականներն ասում են, թե այն ամենը, ինչ պետք է անել, դա ուշադրություն դարձնելն է այնպիսի ակնհայտ երեւույթներին, ինչպիսին են հալվող սառցե վահանները, մրրիկների ուժեղացումը, ջրհեղեղները եւ երաշտները։
