Նոր վիրուսը Չինաստանից Հայաստան չի հասել եւ առայժմ չի պահանջում լայն հասարակական միջոցների կիրառում։ Այս մասին ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովում հունվարի 22-ին ասաց ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարար Արսեն Թորոսյանը՝ պատասխանելով կառավարող «Իմ քայլը» դաշինքի պատգամավոր Միքայել Զոլյանի հարցին։
Նա նաեւ ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանի առողջապահության նախարարությունը շարունակում է հետեւել իրավիճակին թե՛ երկրի ներսում, թե՛ սահմանակետերին։ «Այստեղ կասկածելի ուղեւորների ջերմությունը չափում են։ Բայց նոր վիրուսի հայտնվելու պահից նման դեպքեր չեն հայտնաբերվել։ Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպությունը արտահերթ նիստ է գումարել եւ այսօր երեկոյան հանդես կգա հայտարարությամբ։ Մենք կհետեւենք այդ հայտարարությանը եւ պատրաստ ենք կատարել դրա դրույթները։ Եթե հարկ լինի դիմել բնակչությանն ու բացատրել, թե ինչ պետք է անեն, մենք անհապաղ կանենք դա։ Բայց առայժմ դրա անհրաժեշտությունը չկա»,- նշել է նախարարը։ Հիշեցնենք, որ ընթացիկ տարվա հունվարին Չինաստանի մերձափնյա քաղաքներից մեկում հայտնաբերվել է նոր կորոնավիրուս, որն առաջ է բերում թոքաբորբ եւ փոխանցվում է մարդուց մարդուն։ Չինաստանի սահմաններից դուրս հիվանդության նոր դեպք գրանցվել է միայն ԱՄՆ-ում։
