Այսօր՝ փետրվարի 8-ին, խոշոր ավտովթար է տեղի ունեցել Գեղարքունիքի մարզում։ Ժամը 06։50-ի սահմաններում Սևան-Մարտունի-Գետափ ավտոճանապարհի 57 կմ հատվածում՝ Ծակքար գյուղի վարչական տարածքում, «Գոհար» հարսանյաց սրահի դիմաց, ճակատ-ճակատի բախվել են Mercedes մակնիշի 87 OQ 008 համարանիշի և Opel Vectra մակնիշի 36 AT 621 հաարանիշի ավտոմեքենաները։

Ինչպես դեպքի վայրից հայտնում է ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, վթարի հետևանքով 8 հոգի տարբեր աստիճանի մարմնական վնասվածքներով տեղափոխվել են Մարտունու բժշկական կենտրոն։

Վիրավորներին առաջինը օգնության են հասել քաղաքացիները և օպերատիվորեն ժամանած Արտակարգ իրավիճակների նախարարության Փրկարար ծառայության Գեղարքունիքի մարզային փրկարարական վարչության Մարտունու հրշեջ-փրկարարական ջոկատը՝ 1 մարտական հաշվարկով։

Դեպքի վայրում հավաքվածներն ասում էին, որ վիրավորներին հիվանդանոց են ուղեկցել ոստիկանության Մարտունու բաժնի պետ Ստեփան Հակոբյանը, օպերգծով տեղակալ Գարեգին Գերասիմյանը և Ճանապարհային ոստիկանության 2-րդ սպայական գումարտակի 4-րդ վաշտի հրամանատար Էդգար Սուսլիյանը։

Այս պահին դեպքի վայրում ծառայություն են կատարում Ճանապարհային ոստիկանության 2-րդ սպայական գումարտակի 4-րդ վաշտի 1-ին դասակի ծառայողները՝ ավագ տեսուչ Մնացական Ղանդիլյանի գլխավորությամբ։

Տեղում հետաքննչական աշխատանքները ղեկավարում է նույն վաշտի հետաքննիչ Կարեն Պետրոսյանը, ում կողմից փաստի առթիվ նյութեր են նախապատրաստվում։ Ոստիկանությունը պարզում է վարորդների և վիրավորների ինքնությունը։

Դեպքի վայրում հավաքվածներն ասում էին, որ վթարի պատճառներից է նաև ճանապարհի մերկասառույցը, քանի որ տեղի ճանշինականները ոչ մի միջոց չեն ձեռնարկել ճանապարհը աղ ու ավազով պատելու ուղղությամբ, ու եթե ժամանակին ճանապարհը մշակեին, ապա վթարը տեղի չէր ունենա։

Մի քանի հոգի էլ նշում էին, որ վարորդներն ու վիրավորները մեկնում էին զինվորական երդմնակալության, Opel-ի վարորդն ու ուղևորները մեկնում էին Իջևանի զորամաս, Mercedes-ինն էլ՝ Վարդենիսի։

Մինչ դեպքի վայրում աշխատում էին ոստիկանները, Մարտունու բժշկական կենտրոնից վիրավորներից 3 հոգու շտապօգնության ավտոմեքենաներով տեղափոխեցին Երևան։

Դեպքի վայրում հավաքվածները նաև իրենց շնորհակալությունն էին հայտնում Մարտունու հիվանդանոցի բժիշկներին, Մարտունու փրկարարական ջոկատի փրկարարներին, ոստիկանության Մարտունու բաժնի ծառայողներին ու հոգատար այն քաղաքացիներին, ովքեր առաջին իսկ պահին օգնության ձեռք մեկնեցին վիրավորներին։
