«Բանակում ողբերգական դեպքերը հաջորդում են մեկը մյուսին, ինչը խիստ մտահոգության տեղիք է տալիս: Փետրվարի 9-ին հերթական տեղեկությունը ստացվեց, որ զինծառայող Վալերի Պետրոսյանը հանկարծամահ է եղել: «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի տեղեկություններով՝ մահացած զինվորը երկու օր առաջ դիմել է զորամասի բուժկետ և հայտնել, որ իրեն լավ չի զգում, սակայն զորամասի բուժկետում հերքում են այդ տեղեկությունները, և անգամ զորամասի գրանցամատյանում չկա որևէ գրառում, որ զինվորը դիմել է բուժկետ: «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը տեղեկացավ, որ իրավապահները պարզել են՝ զորակոչվելիս զինվորը որևէ սահմանափակում չի ունեցել, ասել է թե՝ առողջական որևէ խնդիր չի ունեցել՝ նաև բժշկական պաշտոնական եզրակացության տվյալներով:

 

Ի դեպ, սա այս տարվա հունվարի 1-ից մինչև փետրվարի 9-ը ընկած ժամանակահատվածում 8-րդ մահվան դեպքն է, ու զինվորները չեն մահացել հակառակորդի կրակոցից, այլ խաղաղ պայմաններում՝ տարբեր հանգամանքներում:

 

Ի դեպ, մեզ հասած լուրերի համաձայն՝ բանակում տեղի ունեցած դեպքերից հետո պաշտպանության նախարար Դավիթ Տոնոյանը փոխնախարարներից մեկին հանձնարարել է ստուգումներ իրականացնել զորամասերում և ստուգայցեր կատարել: Բայց գործընթացը մի փոքր դանդաղել է, քանի որ ՊՆ և ԶՈՒ փոխհարաբերությունները լարված են: Ու այս պայմաններում, ըստ լուրերի, դժվար է գտնել Զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբից որևէ ներկայացուցիչ, որը կկարողանա ՊՆ-ի հետ համագործակցված գործունեություն իրականացնել»:
