Կալիֆոռնիայի ոստիկանները տեղեկություններ են հավաքում նորածին երեխայի մասին, ում գտել են Քոմփթոն քաղաքում,-տեղեկացնում է Past.am-ը: Նրան հայտնաբերել են հայտնի հեծանվային ճանապարհի կողքին թաղված: Բարեբախտբար, երեխայի կյանքը հնարավոր է եղել փրկել: Փոքր աղջիկը հավանաբար 24-36 ժամվա ծնված է եղել: Նրան հայտնաբերել են ուրբաթ կեսօրին մի գետակի մոտ: Շաբաթ օրվա դրությամբ նրա վիճակը գնահատվել է կայուն:
Շերիֆը նշել է, որ կան փաստեր, որոնք վկայում են երեխայի՝ բուժհաստատությունում կամ հիվանդանոցում ծնվելու մասին: Հեծանվորդները լսել են նրա լացի ձայնը և ոստիկանություն են կանչել: Երբ ոստիկանները մոտեցել են, լսել են երեխայի բարձր լացի ձայնւ և մոտենալով՝ գտել են նրան ասֆալտի կտորներով ու քարերով ծածկված: Նա սավանի մեջ փաթաթված է եղել և սառած:
Ոստիկանները երեխային անմիջապես հիվանդանոց են տեղափոխել: Սերժանտը նշել է, որ որոշ ծնողներ, ծանր պայմաններում լինելով, չեն կարողանում պահել իրենց նորածին երեխաներին և, դժբախտաբար, երբեմն վնասում են նրանց կամ լքում: Նա ավելացրել է, որ նման խնդրի դեպքում նրանք կարող են դիմել իշխանություններին, ովքեր հոգ կտանեն երեխայի մասին:
