Գորտը որոշեց.
Ինքը հանճար է:
Մոր համար թանկ էր
Իր մինուճարը,
Ուստի որոշեց
Քավորին դիմել.
- Գորտիս կռռոցը
Պիտի՛ գովազդել:
Քավո՛ր, դու գիտես
Բոլո՜ր ձևերը,
Դո՛ւ ես գորտիկիս
Մեջքն ու թևերը,
Էս կըռ-կըռն հազա՜ր
Գրված երգ արժի.
Գորտս պոետ է,
Պիտի՛ ճանաչվի:
Քավորը ասաց.
- Սանամա՛յր անգին,
Ամեն ինչ կանեմ
տեղին ու կարգին,
Սանիկիս գիրը
էսօր թող կարդամ,
Որ անելիքս վաղվա հասկանամ:
Հարյուր էջ կըռռոց
Վերից վար թերթեց,
Մի սիրուն հնչյուն
Մեջը չպեղեց.
Գորտ մոր ասածն էր հնչում ականջին.
«Գորտս պոետ է,
պիտի ճանաչվի՜…»:
Քավոր է…Գիշերը
չքնեց դարդից,
Բայց ելք միշտ էլ կա
նման վիճակից:
Մի չեղած մրցույթ
Օդից հորինեց,
Մրցանակն էլ իր
Սանիկին շնորհեց:
Կողքից էլ կցեց
Մի նամակ- երկտող.
«Բարդ ձեռագիր է՝
վերջից կարդացվող,
գուցեև այսօր դժվար հասկացվի,
վաղը գին կտան,
եթե տարածվի»:
Գորտը դեռ
երկու Նոր գիրք էլ գրեց
Ափսոս, մորից զատ՝
Ոչ ոք չգնեց:
«Հանճարեղ» գորտին
Մինչ օրս ճահճում
Իր կռռոցով են
Միայն ճանաչում:
