Ինչո՞ւ են հայերն ամենուր օգտագործում «ջան» բառը. ի՞նչ է այն նշանակում, և որտեղի՞ց է առաջացել

«Ջան» բառն իրենց առօրյա խոսքում օգտագործում են անխտիր բոլոր հայերը և տարբեր իրավիճակներում՝ «Ռուբիկ ջան», «ախպեր ջան», և որ ամենասիրելին ու ամենատարածվածն է՝ «վա՜յ, մամա ջան»:

Որտեղի՞ց է ի հայտ եկել լեգենդար «ջան» բառը և ինչո՞ւ այսքան մեծ տարածում ունի հայերեն խոսքում:

Իրականում «ջան» բառը չափազանց մեծ տարածում ունի արևելյան հաղորդակցության մեջ: Այս բառը լսել հնարավոր է՝ սկսած Հնդկաստանից վերջացրած Մերձավոր Արևելքով: Այն նշանակում է «սիրելի»: Թուրքերը ևս օգտագործում են այս բառը, որը կրկին նշանակում է «սիրելիս, հոգիս»:

«Ջան» բառը մաքուր հնդեվրոպական արտահայտություն է, որն առաջացել է ֆարսիից՝ պարսկերենից: Արաբական այբուբենով այն գրվում է այս կերպ՝ «جان», իսկ թարգմանաբար նշանակում է «կյանք» կամ «հոգի»:

Քչերը գիտեն, որ «ջան» բառը բարեկամ է հնդեվրոպական մեկ այլ բառի, որը բոլորիս ծանոթ է: Այդ բառը «անիմա»-ն է, որը լատիներենից թարգմանած նշանակում է «հոգի»: Հենց այս բառից էլ առաջացել է «անիմացիա» բառը: «Ջան» բառին բարեկամ է նաև հունարեն «գեն» բառը՝ «գենետիկա», «ջենետիկա»:

Պարսիկները «ջան» բառն օգտագործում են նաև ուղիղ իմաստով՝ «ողջ, կենդանի»: Օրինակ՝ Իրանում մարդը կարող է ասել՝ «Madar jan dard»` «Իմ մայրը ողջ է»:

Հայերը «ջան» բառը ևս օգտագործում են նույն իմաստով, ինչպես նաև՝ որպես «մարմին»: Մենք այս բառը շատ ենք սիրում և մեր առօրյա խոսքում օգտագործում ենք սկսած միջին դարերից:

Ժամանակակից հայերենում «ջան» բառը նաև որպես առանձին ձայնարկություն է օգտագործվում՝ «ջա՜ն, ջա՜ն» ուրախություն արտահայտելիս:
