ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն հունիսի 23-ին ընդունել է Ամերիկայի հայկական համագումարի (ԱՀՀ) հոգաբարձուների խորհրդի համանախագահ Էնթոնի Բարսամյանին: Հանդիպմանը ներկա են եղել նաև ԱՀՀ տարածաշրջանային տնօրեն Արփի Վարդանյանը և ԱՀՀ տնօրենների խորհրդի անդամ Րաֆֆի Քասարջյանը:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, զրուցակիցներն անդրադարձել են համահայկական կարևորություն ունեցող օրակարգային հարցերին, դրանց լուծման ուղղությամբ Հայաստանի իշխանությունների և արտերկրում հայկական տարբեր կազմակերպությունների, քաղաքական ուժերի, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանի բարեկամների կողմից գործադրվող ջանքերին, դինամիկ զարգացող հայ-ամերիկյան հարաբերություններին, դրանց ամրապնդման ու խորացման հնարավորություններին և մի շարք այլ հարցերի:

ՀՀ Նախագահը և ԱՀՀ ներկայացուցիչները համակարծիք են եղել, որ ընթացիկ տարում համայն հայության համար կարևոր՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի ոգեկոչման միջոցառումների շարքը հնարավոր դարձավ Հայաստանում և աշխարհի տարբեր երկրներում անցկացնել շատ բարձր մակարդակով՝ միասնական ջանքերի և համախմբվածության շնորհիվ: Սերժ Սարգսյանը և ԱՀՀ հոգաբարձուների խորհրդի համանախագահ Էնթոնի Բարսամյանը մեծապես կարևորել են աշխարհի տարբեր անկյուններում անցկացված այդ միջոցառումները՝ Վաշինգտոնի ազգային տաճարում կայացած՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանությանը նվիրված մ իջկրոնական աղոթքից ու Վատիկանում Նորին Սրբություն Հռոմի Պապ Ֆրանցիսկոսի կողմից Սուրբ Պետրոսի տաճարում մատուցված պատարագից մինչև Երևանում և արտերկրի հայաշատ բազմաթիվ քաղաքներում տեղի ունեցած միջոցառումները:

Հանրապետության Նախագահը ողջունել և բարձր է գնահատել Ամերիկայի հայկական համագումարի ու բոլոր այն հայկական կազմակերպությունների, կառույցների և անհատների ազգանվեր գործունեությունը, ովքեր մասնակցում են Հայաստանի զարգացմանը և հայությանը հուզող հարցերի լուծմանը:

ԱՀՀ հոգաբարձուների խորհրդի համանախագահը վստահեցրել է, որ համագումարն այսուհետ էլ շարունակելու է համագործակցել բոլոր հայկական կազմակերպությունների ու քաղաքական ուժերի հետ՝ ի նպաստ Հայաստանի և համայն հայության: Նա նշել է, որ Համագումարը պատրաստակամ է նոր նախաձեռնություններով ու գաղափարներով առաջ մղելու և ավելի խորացնելու հայ-ամերիկյան բարեկամական ու գործընկերային հարաբերությունները: Այդ համատեքստում անդրադարձ է եղել երկկողմ առևտրատնտեսական հարաբերություններին: Զրուցակիցները կարևորել են ս.թ. մայիսին ՀՀ Նախագահի Միացյալ Նահանգն եր այցի շրջանակներում ստորագրված Առևտրի և ներդրումների մասին շրջանակային համաձայնագիրը, որը բարենպաստ դաշտ կստեղծի փոխադարձ առևտրի և Հայաստանում ամերիկյան նոր ներդրումների ներգրավման համար:

Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը բարձր է գնահատել հայ-ամերիկյան քաղաքական երկխոսության ներկայիս մակարդակը, ընդգծելով, որ երկու երկրները ամուր գործընկերային հարաբերություններ ունեն թե՛ երկկողմ, թե՛ բազմակողմ հարթություններում:

Նախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Միացյալ Նահանգների կառավարությանը՝ Հայաստանի տնտեսական զարգացմանը, տարբեր ոլորտներում բարեփոխումներին, ժողովրդավարության և քաղաքացիական հասարակության կայացմանը տարիներ շարունակ ցուցաբերվող ԱՄՆ աջակցության համար՝ միտված ՀՀ պետականության ամրապնդմանը:

Սերժ Սարգսյանը բարձր է գնահատել նաև ԱՄՆ դերակատարումը տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության և կայունության պահպանման գործում, այդ թվում ԱՄՆ-ի` որպես ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ երկրի, ակտիվ ներգրավվածությունը ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորման գործընթացում:
