Ցնցումները գրանցվել են մարտի 19-ին՝ տեղի ժամանակով ժամը 00:45-ին:
Երկրաշարժի էպիկենտրոնը գտնվել է Հյուսիսային Կուտայի շրջանից 173 կմ հեռավորության վրա՝ 10 կմ խորության վրա: Ցնցումները ցունամի առաջացնելու վտանգ չեն ներկայացրել:
