«Վիեննայի ձեւաչափով» Սիրիայի իրադրության կարգավորման շուրջ հաջորդ միջազգային հանդիպումը կարող է կայանալ ընթացիկ ամսվա կեսին Նյու Յորքում, եթե դրան չխանգարեն Մոսկվայի եւ Անկարայի հակասությունները: Այդ մասին, հաղորդել է The New York Times ամերիկյան թերթը:
ՄԱԿ-ում դիվանագիտական աղբյուրների տեղեկությունների համաձայն՝ «այն տերությունների ներկայացուցիչները, որոնք մասնակցել են Սիրիայում պատերազմի դադարեցման նպատակով առաջնահերթ նշանակություն ունեցող կոնսուլտացիաներին, կարող են հանդիպել Նյու Յորքում դեկտեմբերի կեսին, եթե հաջողվի վերացնել Ռուսաստանի եւ Թուրքիայի միջեւ ծագած լարվածությունը»: Ինչպես նշել է դիվանագետներից մեկը, ԱՄՆ-ի խոշորագույն մեգապոլիսում այդ շփումների կազմակերպմանը վերաբերող հարցերի համաձայնեցումն արդեն սկսվել է:
Համաշխարհային կազմակերպությանն առընթեր ԱՄՆ-ի մշտական ներկայացուցիչ Սամանթա Փաուերը, որը դեկտեմբերին զբաղեցրել է ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդի նախագահի տեղը, դեկտեմբերի 1-ին հայտարարել է, որ Վաշինգտոնը ձգտում է հասնել նման հանդիպման անցկացման, սակայն նա չի ճշտել՝ երբ եւ որտեղ այն կկայանա: Նրա խոսքով՝ ԱՄՆ-ը «պատրաստ է դրա անցկացման համար քննարկել մի ամբողջ շարք հնարավոր վայրեր, այդ թվում՝ Նյու Յորքը»:
Փաուերը նաեւ նշել է, որ ՄԱԿ-ի ԱԽ-ի անդամներն աշխատում են Ռուսաստանի ներկայացրած բանաձեւի նախագծի վրա, որը նպատակամղված է «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման ֆինանսավորման դադարեցմանը: Նա արձանագրել է, որ այդ խնդրի վերաբերյալ ԱՄՆ-ի եւ Ռուսաստանի հայացքները մասամբ համընկնում են:
Սիրիայի շուրջ բազմակողմ բանակցությունները Վիեննայում կայացել են նոյեմբերի 14-ին: Դրանց մասնակիցները պայմանավորվել են Սիրիայում ՄԱԿ-ի հովանու ներքո մոնիթորինգային առաքելության ստեղծման շուրջ, որը կհետեւի հրադադարի ռեժիմի պահպանմանը: Վիեննայում մշակված երեքէջանոց փաստաթղթում նաեւ տեղ են գտել մի շարք նախաձեռնություններ, ներառյալ սիրիական ընդդիմության ուժերի համախմբումը, Սիրիայում նոր կառավարության եւ սահմանադրության ստեղծման աշխատանքը եւ 18 ամսվա ընթացքում ընտրությունների անցկացումը», հաղորդել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
