POLITICSԱրդեն շուրջ երկու տարի է Փաշինյանը հանրությանը փորձում է մոլորեցնել, ասելով` թե կամ ինքն է վարչապետը կամ Սերժ Սարգսյանը։ Այս մասին ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է իրավապաշտպան Արսեն Բաբայանը։ Նա մասնավորապես նշել է.
«Փաշինյանն ԱԺ ամբիոնից հայտարարել է, թե իր այլընտրանքը Գագիկ Խաչատրյանն ու Սերժ Սարգսյանն են: Նա բառացի այսպես է ձևակերպել Անասնաֆրմայի նապոլեոնակամ միտքը`«Ժողովրդի լեգիտիմ իրավունքն է ասելու` սրանց տարեք, Գագիկ Խաչատրյանին և Սերժ Սարգսյանին հետ բերեք»: Արդեն շուրջ երկու տարի է Փաշինյանը հանրությանը փորձում է մոլորեցնել, ասելով` թե կամ ինքն է վարչապետը կամ Սերժ Սարգսյանը: Ո՛Չ, պարոն Փաշինյան, չենք ուզում ձեր իշխանությունը և ձեզ տանելու ենք, իսկ թե ո՞ւմ կբերենք, դա մենք ենք որոշելու: Եվ միանշանակ է, որ Գագիկ Խաչատրյանին և Սերժ Սարգսյանին չենք բերելու: Անցյալին վերադարձ չի լինելու: Չի լինելու անցյալին վերադարձ նաև այն ժամանակ, երբ դուք եք անցյալ լինելու: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն իրականությունից կտրվել է: Նա կարծում է, թե ինքն է որոշելու կամ որոշում, թե ժողովուրդն իր փոխարեն ում պետք է բերի իշխանության: Պարոն Փաշինյան, Ձեր շնորհիվ հանրությունը վերջապես կարողացավ ինքնուրույն որոշել, թե, որ անձին կամ քաղաքական ուժին է ցանկանում բերել իշխանության: Ի դեպ այս առումով Ձեզ շնորհակալություն է պետք հայտնել: Բայց այդ նույն հանրությունն արդեն գիտի, որ կարող է ձեզ փոխել ու բոլորովին հաշվի չառնելով Ձեր ցանկությունները, թե ումով կամ որ քաղաքական ուժով պետք է ձեզ փոխարինի: Հավաստիացնում եմ, որ այդ հարցում Դուք որոշում կայացնող չեք: Ժողովրդի իշխանությունն անկախ է նույնիսկ Ձեր ցանկություններից ու անգամ պատկերացումներից: Ժողովրդի իշխանությունն անկախ է նույնիսկ Ձեր երևակայությունից: Քանի որ Ժողովրդի իշխանությունը չի սահմանափակվում սոսկ Սահմանադրության 2-րդ հոդվածով: Ժողորդի իշխանությունը տարածվում է Սահմանադրության ամբողջ ծավալով, սկսած հենց 1-ին հոդվածից մինչև 220-րդը: Ժողովուրդը հրաշալի գիտի, թե ովքեր են ձեզ փոխարինելու: Շուտով ժողովուրդն իր որոշումը կկայացնի, որքան էլ փորձեք Ձեր իշխանությունը երկարաձգելու փորձեր անել` նախկինների հիշատակմամբ մարդկանց մոլորեցնելով»:
