Ռոնալդինյոն մեկնաբանել է Պարագվայում կեղծ անձնագրի համար իր ձերբակալության մասին լուրերը․ ABC
SPORT2002 թ.-ին Բրազիլիայի հավաքականում Աշխարհի գավաթի չեմպիոն Ռոնալդինյոն կեղծ անձնագիր օգտագործելու համար ձերբակալվել էր Պարագվայում։ Ռոնալդինյոն և նրա եղբայրը, ովքեր կասկածվում են Պարագվայ մուտք գործելու համար կեղծ անձնագրեր օգտագործելու մեջ, ձերբակալվել էին մարտի 7-ին: Ապրիլի սկզբին դատավոր Գուստավո Ամարիլան ազատ էր արձակել Ռոնալդինյոյին և նրա եղբորը՝ նրանց ուղարկելով տնային կալաքի 1,6 միլիոն դոլար գրավի դիմաց: «Մենք զարմացանք, որ փաստաթղթերը կեղծ էին, և մենք ի սկզբանե պատրաստ էինք համագործակցելու իշխանությունների հետ ամեն ինչ պարզելու համար: Առաջին իսկ օրվանից մենք զեկուցում և տրամադրում ենք մեզանից պահանջվող բոլոր տվյալները: Երբ մեզ ուղարկեցին մեկուսացման խցիկ, դա լուրջ հարված էր մեզ համար։ Ես նույնիսկ չէի պատկերացնում, որ երբևէ կհայտնվեմ այդպիսի իրավիճակում: Իմ ամբողջ կյանքի ընթացքում ես ձգտել եմ հասնելու առավելագույն պրոֆեսիոնալ բարձունքների և մարդկանց երջանկություն պարգևել իմ խաղով», - ասել է բրազիլացին ABC- ին տված հարցազրույցում:
