ՀԱՅ-ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆ
1941– վախճանվել է նկարիչ և հասարակական գործիչ, Վանի հերոսամարտի հրամանատարներից մեկը՝ Փանոս Թերլեմեզյանը։
1951-ծնվել է մանրէաբան Կարապետ Անդրանիկյանը։
1978-ծնվել է հայ խորհրդային բժիշկ-վարակաբան Ռաֆայել Մանվելյանը։
1991-ղարաբաղյան պատերազմի ժամանակ ԽՄԿԿ կենտկոմի հրամանով սկսվել է «Օղակ» օպերացիան, որի ժամանակ խորհրդային բանակի և ադրբեջանական ՕՄՈՆ-ի ուժերը սկսել են հայ բնակչության արտաքսումը Ադրբեջանական ԽՍՀ Խանլարի շրջանի Գետաշեն և Մարտունաշեն գյուղերից։
- զոհվել են Գետաշենի ենթաշրջանի ինքնապաշտպանության ղեկավար, Հայաստանի ազգային հերոս Թաթուլ Կրպեյանը, Արաբո ջոկատի հրամանատար Սիմոն Աչիկգյոզյանը, Հրազդանի ջոկատի հրամանատար Հրաչ Դանիելյանը։
1993 – ՄԱԿ-ի անվտանգության խորհուրդը ընդունել է 822 բանաձևը, որը վերաբերել է Արցախյան ազատամարտին և նախատեսել է հայկական ուժերի դուրսբերում Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի տարածքից։
2001-Երևանում կայացել է Վիեննայի սիմֆոնիկ նվագախմբի համերգը, որը ղեկավարել է Լորիս Ճգնավորյանը:
2005-մայրաքաղաքի Կենտրոն և ՆորքՄարաշ համայնքների առաջին ատյանի դատարանում ավարտվել է փետրվարի 4-ին մայրաքաղաքի Արցախի և Արին բերդ փողոցների խաչմերուկում («ՏԷՑ-ի կրուգ») տեղի ունեցած փոխհրաձգության գործով դատավարությունը:
2006-Կալիֆորնիայի Փասադենա քաղաքում հայերի միջև տեղի է ունեցել փոխհրաձգություն, որի արդյունքում երեք ծանր վիրավորներ տեղափոխվել են հիվանդանոց: 2007- ՀՀՇ վարչությունը հայտարարել է համամասնական ընտրակարգով խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների գործընթացից կուսակցության դուրս գալու մասին: 2012-Երևանի Մաշտոցի պուրակում ոստիկանների և բնապահպանների միջև տեղի ունեցած բախումների հետևանքով 10-ից ավելի ակտիվիստներ ստացել են վնասվածքներ։
2018-Ազգային ժողովում տեղի է ունեցել Հայաստանի երրորդ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի և ԱԺ «Ելք» խմբակցության ղեկավար «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» կուսակցության առաջնորդ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հանդիպումը խորհրդարանականների հետ: Խորհրդարանի «Ծառուկյան» դաշինքը որոշել է միաձայն քվեարկել Փաշինյանի օգտին, իսկ Հանրապետական խմբակցությունը որոշել է չխոչընդոտել խորհրդարանում մյուս երեք ուժերի միասնական թեկնածուի ընտրությանը։
1919-Հրապարակվել է Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի և մյուսների գործով մեղադրական եզրակացության համառոտ բովանդակությունը։
ԱՇԽԱՐՀ
1642-ծնվել է Ռուսաստանի ազգային հերոս, ռազմական և քաղաքական գործիչ Դմիտրի Պոժարսկին։ 1722- «New England Courant» թերթում առաջին անգամ հիշատակվել է բիլիարդ խաղը։
1777-ծնվել է գերմանացի մաթեմատիկոս, աստղագետ և ֆիզիկոս Կարլ Ֆրիդրիխ Գաուսսը։
1789- ԱՄՆ-ի առաջին նախագահ է ընտրվել Ջորջ Վաշինգտոնը։
1803-ԱՄՆ-ը Ֆրանսիայից գնել է Ֆրանսիական Լուիզիանան՝ մեկ ակրը չորս ցենտով։
1838-Նիկարագուան անջատվել է Կենտրոնաամերիկյան ֆեդերացիայից։
1854-սկսել է գործել առաջին երկաթուղին Բրազիլիայում։
1871-Արիզոնայի նահանգի Կեմպ-Գրանտ ֆակտորիայում տեղի է ունեցել սպանդ, որի արդյունքում զոհվել է 144 արիվայպա հնդիկ։
1883-ծնվել է չեխ գրող-երգիծաբան Յարոսլավ Հաշեկը։
1883-վախճանվել է ֆրանսիացի նկարիչ, իմպրեսիոնիզմի հիմնադիրներից մեկը՝ Էդուարդ Մանեն։
1893-ծնվել է Գերմանիայի արտգործնախարար (1938—1945) Իոհիմ ֆոն Ռիբենտրոպը։
1900-ԱՄՆ-ը անեքսիայի է ենթարկել Հավայան կղզիները։
1941-Բավարիայի դպրոցներում արգելվել է կրել խաչեր։
1945-Ադոլֆ Հիտլերը և Եվա Բրաունը ինքնասպանություն են գործել։
1967-ծնվել է էստրադային արտիստ, Ռուսաստանի ժողովրդական արտիստ Ֆիլիպ Կիրկորովը։
1970-Վիետնամական պատերազմի ընթացքում ԱՄՆ-ի բանակը մտել է Կամբոջայի տարածք։
1975-Սայգոնը գրավվել է հյուսիսվիետնամական զորքերի կողմից, որով ավարտվել է պատերազմը։
2019-Ճապոնիայի կայսր Աքիհիթոն հրաժարվել է գահից։
