Հայաստանի անունից Լոս Անջելեսին տրամադրվել է 100 հազար բժշկական դիմակ
SOCIETYԿորոնավիրուսի համավարակի դեմ պայքարին աջակցություն ցուցաբերելու նպատակով Հայաստանի Հանրապետության անունից Լոս Անջելես քաղաքին է տրամադրվել 100 հազար հատ բժշկական դիմակ։ Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք Լոս Անջելեսում գլխավոր հյուպատոսության ֆեյսբուքյան էջից։
«Այս ծրագիրը Լոս Անջելեսի քաղաքային իշխանությանը կօգնի մեղմել համաճարակի հետևանքները և դիմագրավել վարակին։
Այս կարևոր նախաձեռնության հեղինակը լոսանջելեսահայ հայտնի բարերար Ջաք Յուրեջյանն է, որը հանդիսանում է Western Drug ընկերության հիմնադիրը և գործադիր նախագահը։ Նա և իր տիկին Զարիկը նաև կարևոր ծրագիր են իրականացնում Հայաստանի երկրորդ խոշորագույն քաղաքում՝ Գյումրիում՝ երկրաշաժից տուժած ընտանիքներին ապահովելով բնակարանով, ինչպես նաև աջակցելով երեխաներին՝ հասնել ակադեմիական հաջողությունների, պլանավորել ապագան և մասնակցել մասնագիտական դասընթացների։
Լոս Անջելեսի միջազգային համագործակցության հարցերով փոխքաղաքապետ, դեսպան Նինա Հաջիկյանի և ՀՀ գլխավոր հյուպատոս, դեսպան Արմեն Բայբուրդյանի համակարգմամբ, դիմակները մատակարարվել են Լոս Անջելեսի բժշկական հաստատություններին և խոցելի խմբերին։ Այս նախաձեռնությունն ընդգծում է Հայաստանի և ԱՄՆ երկրորդ խոշորագույն քաղաքի միջև զարգացում ապրող ամուր գործընկերությունը, որը փոխադրվեց նոր՝ ավելի բարձր մակարդակի 2019թ. սեպտեմբերին ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի՝ Լոս Անջելես կատարած այցի ընթացքում, որի ժամանակ Լոս Անջելեսի քաղաքապետ Էրիկ Գարսեթին ՀՀ վարչապետին հյուրընալեց հատուկ ջերմությամբ։
«COVID-19-ի դեմ պայքարը փոքրացրել է աշխարհը, և մոլորակի բնակիչները միավորվել են՝ դիմագրավելու մահաբեր համավարակին։ Հայաստանը և Լոս Անջելեսը կապված են անքակտելի կապերով, և այս առատաձեռն նվերը կօգնի պաշտպանել խոցելի խմբերին պատկանող լոսանջելեսցիներին և բուժհաստատությունների աշխատակիցներին, որոնք ցուցաբերում են անհավատալի քաջություն և կյանքեր փրկելու գործում բացառիկ վճռականություն»,- նշել է Լոս Անջելեսի քաղաքապետ Էրիկ Գարսեթին։
Լոս Անջելեսի հայ համայնքն աշխարհում ամենամեծաթիվ և գործուն համայնքներից մեկն է։ Իբրև քաղաքի անբաժանելի մասը՝ այստեղի ամերիկահայ համայնքը նաև հպարտորեն կրում է լոսանջելեսցու պատվավոր կոչումը և ջանք չի խնայում իր ներդրումն ունենալ քաղաքի առաջընթացի ապահովման գործում։ 2020թ․ ապրիլին, Հայոց ցեղասպանության 105-րդ տարելիցի առիթով, Լոս Անջելեսի հայ համայնքը «1.5 միլիոն ճաշաբաժին 1.5 միլիոն կյանքի համար» մարդասիրական դրամահավաք նախաձեռնեց՝ «Շնորհակալություն, Ամերիկա» խորագրով։ Հասույթը կուղղվի Feeding America կազմակերպությանը՝ ի պատիվ «Միջին Արևելքի հիմնադրամի» ծավալած գործունեության և սնունդ կապահովի կարիքավոր ամերիկացիների համար։ «Միջին Արևելքի հիմնադրամը» ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսի պաշտոնական աջակցությունը վայելող առաջին ոչ կառավարական հիմանդրամն էր, որի հանգանակած գումարով փրկվել է 132 հազար հայ որբերի կյանքը, հիմնվել են ավելի քան 400 ապաստարաններ, հիվանդանոցներ, դպրոցներ, ինչի շնորհիվ մեծագույն աջակցություն է ցուցաբերվել հայ ժողովրդի գոյատևմանը։ Ներկայումս ամերիկահայ համայնքի երկրով մեկ իրականացրած դրամահավաքի արդյունքում ապահովվել է ավելի քան 5 մլն բաժին ուտելիք կարիքավորների համար»,- ասված է հաղորդագրության մեջ:
