<<Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,

Սրտանց շնորհավորում եմ բոլորիս Ընտանիքի միջազգային օրվա կապակցությամբ, որը մենք 2011 թվականից օրենքի ուժով ամրագրել ենք Հայաստանում և նշում ենք որպես Ընտանիքի օր: Ընտանիքը բարձրագույն արժեք է, առողջ հասարակության ու ամուր պետության հենքն ու երաշխավորը: Երջանիկ է այն ընտանիքը, որում ազգային ավանդությունների ու ինքնության պահպանմանը զուգահեռ տիրում է իրավահավասարություն, փոխադարձ հարգանք ու փոխըմբռնում:

Անկախ հասարակական հարաբերությունների զարգացման աստիճանից՝ ընտանիքի ամրության գլխավոր նախապայմանը հարգանքն ու փոխզիջումն է. վեճի ամենասուր պահին լռելու ու լսելու կարողությունը, դժվարությունները միակամ հաղթահարելու խիզախությունը, երջանիկ պահերը միասին վայելելու բերկրանքը:

Փորձությունները ժամանակավոր ու անցողիկ են, գլխավորը` դրանք արժանապատիվ հաղթահարելու կարողությունն է: Նույնիսկ առերևույթ անլուծելի թվացող իրավիճակները հեշտ հաղթահարելի են, երբ մարդն իր թիկունքում ունի ընտանիքի սերն ու մտերիմների աջակցությունը: Դա ուժ է, որի դեմ անկարող է ցանկացած հողմ:

Ցավոք, այսօր տեսնում ենք նաև այնպիսի երևույթների անթաքույց քարոզ, որոնք հակասության մեջ են մեր հավաքական պատկերացումների հետ և բացասական ազդեցություն են ունենում հասարակության կարևորագույն բջիջի՝ ընտանիքի կայացման գործում: Փոքր ազգերի համար սա ծանր հետևանքեր ենթադրող խնդիր է: Մեր երկիրն այսօր կանգնած է ժողովրդագրական մարտահրավերի առջև, որի հաղթահարման ամենագործուն միջոցը, իմ խորին համոզմամբ, ամուր և լիարժեք ընտանիքի գաղափարի փառաբանումն է:

Սեր և ներդաշնակություն եմ մաղթում ձեր ընտանիքներին, խաղաղություն Հայաստանին և Արցախին:
