Վրաստանը 1 միլիոն բնակչի հաշվով արել է 9 հազար թեստ, իսկ Հայաստանն արել է 12 հազար 650 թեստ։ Այս մասին այսօր՝ մայիսի 15-ին, Ազատություն Հ/Ը-ի  հետ զրույցում ասաց Արսեն Թորոսյանը՝ անդրադառնալով հարցին, թե Վրաստանում այսօր հաստատվել է 4 դեպք, իսկ Հայաստանում 184, այդ համեմատությունն արդյոք վկայո՞ւմ է, որ Վրաստանի իշխանություններն ավելի արդյունավետ են պայքարել վարակի տարածման դեմ։

Նախարարն ասաց, որ կարեւոր են նաեւ թեստավորման խմբերը. «Ես ողջունում եմ իմ կոլեգաների էֆեկտիվ քայլերը՝ պայքարելու այս հիվանդության դեմ, հուսով եմ, որ նրանց այսուհետ էլ կհաջողվի մնալ ցածր թվերի վրա։ Ես խոսում էի Չինաստանի դեսպանի հետ, եւ նրանք նույնպես անհանգստացած են, որ հնարավոր է՝ տեղի ունենա կրկնակի բռնկում։ Այսօրվա թվերը ոչինչ չեն երաշխավորում ապագայի տեսանկյունից, եթե ուզում են վերադառնալ նորմալ, կամ նոր կենսակերպի»։

Հարցին՝ արդյոք ինքը համաձա՞յն է այն քննադատության հետ, որ իրավապահները պատշաճ հսկողություն այս ամիսներին չեն իրականացրել, Կառավարության ներքին քննարկումներում բարձրաձայնվե՞լ է այդ հարցը, նախարարը պատասխանեց. «Պետական կառավարման բոլոր մարմիններն էլ իրենց աշխատանքը բարելավելու միշտ տեղ ունեն, այդ թվում՝ մենք։ Եթե խոսենք թերացումներից, ապա չեմ վարանի ասել, որ այնպես չի՝ առողջապահական համակարգը գործել է 100 տոկոսո էֆեկտիվությամբ, իսկ որեւէ այլ համակարգ՝ ավելի ցածր»։
