 Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ ծայրագույն պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց կաթողիկոսը Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում դեկտեմբերի 3-ին ընդունել է Չեխիայի Հանրապետության Պատգամավորների պալատի նախագահ Յան Համաչեկի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը` ուղեկցությամբ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Ազգային ժողովի նախագահի տեղակալ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովի:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին Մայր Աթոռի տեղեկատվական համակարգից, հանդիպմանն Ամենայն Հայոց կաթողիկոսը գոհունակությամբ ընդգծել է, որ փոխայցելությունների շնորհիվ բարեկամ երկու ժողովրդների միջև կապերն ավելի են ընդլայնվում և խորանում: Նորին Սրբությունը, մասնավորապես, նշել է, որ երկու երկրների արժեհամակարգում առկա են մեծ ընդհանրություններ` խարսխված քրիստոնեական արժեքների վրա, ինչը ևս պարարտ հող է ստեղծում համագործակցության համար:

Անդրադառնալով նոյեմբերին իր հրավերով Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածին ժամանած Նորին Սրբազնություն Չեխիայի կարդինալ, Պրահայի արքեպիսկոպոս Դոմինիկ Դուկայի այցին` Ամենայն Հայոց կաթողիկոսը ներկայացրել է Հայ առաքելական և Չեխիայի կաթոլիկ եկեղեցիների միջև ձևավորված հարաբերությունները, որոնք գործնական նախաձեռնություններով առավել կզորանան:

Նորին Սրբությունն իր մասնավոր գնահատանքն է հայտնել նաև Չեխիայի իշխանություններին Չեխիայի հայ համայնքի նկատմամբ ցուցաբերվող հոգատար վերաբերմունքի համար` գոհունակությամբ վկայակոչելով այն իրողությունը, որ չեխահայության հոգևոր կյանքի արդյունավետ կազմակերպման համար Կաթոլիկ եկեղեցու կողմից հայ համայնքին Պրահայում եկեղեցի է տրամադրվել:

Իր հերթին Յան Համաչեկն ուրախություն է հայտնել հանդիպման առիթով: Չեխիայի Պատգամավորների պալատի նախագահն անդրադարձել է Հայաստան այցի արդյունքներին և հայ-չեխական գործակցությանը տարբեր ոլորտներում: Յան Համաչեկը տեղեկություններ է փոխանցել Չեխիայի ժողովրդի հոգևոր կյանքի, եկեղեցի-պետություն հարաբերությունների մասին:

Զրույցի ընթացքում խոսվել է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության մասին: Այս առնչությամբ Չեխիայի Պատգամավորների պալատի նախագահը նշել է, որ հայ և չեխ ժողովուրդներն անցյալում շատ ողբերգական էջեր են ունեցել և լավ գիտեն խաղաղության արժեքը: Ամենայն Հայոց կաթողիկոսը և Յան Համաչեկը հաստատել են, որ ԼՂՀ հիմնահարցը կարող է լուծվել բացառապես խաղաղ ճանապարհով: Այս առիթով Նորին Սրբությունը ներկայացրել է նաև այս ուղղությամբ տարածաշրջանի հոգևոր առաջնորդների գործադրած ջանքերը:

Հանդիպմանը ներկա է եղել նաև Մայր Աթոռի արտաքին հարաբերությունների և արարողակարգի բաժնի տնօրեն Գերաշնորհ Տ. Նաթան արքեպիսկոպոս Հովհաննիսյանը:
