Փալոնը և Հայ դատի հանձնախումբը կոչ են արել ԱՄՆ-ին դատապարտել Ադրբեջանի զորավարժությունները
POLITICSԱՄՆ Հայ դատի հանձնախմբի ղեկավարները և ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսի հայկական հարցերով հանձնախմբի համանախագահ Ֆրանկ Փալոնը երկու առանձին նամակ են հղել ԱՄՆ վարչակազմին և ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահներին՝ Ադրբեջանում անկացվող լայնածավալ զորավարժությունների վտանգների վերաբերյալ։ Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, վկայակոչելով Հայ դատի հանձնախմբի տարածած հաղորդագրությունը, նրանք ԱՄՆ վարչակազմին և ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահներին ներկայացրել են այն լուրջ վտագները, որոնք կարող են առաջանալ Ադրբեջանի կողմից անցկացվող լայնածավալ զորավարժությունների ժամանակ։
«Մենք ցանկանում ենք շնորհակալություն հայտնել Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգների Կոնգրեսի հայկական հարցերով հանձնախմբի համանախագահ Ֆրանկ Փալոնին և բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր միացել են նախաձեռնությանը, որպեսզի զգուշացնեն ԱՄՆ վարչակազմին և միջազգային հանրությանը համաճարակային պայմաններում Ադրբեջանի անխոհեմ քայլերի մասին»,- ասել է ԱՄՆ-ի Հայ դատի հանձնախմբի կառավարության հետ կապերի տնօրեն Թերեզա Երիմյանը։
Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգների Կոնգրեսի հայկական հարցերով հանձնախմբի համանախագահ Ֆրանկ Փալոնը և Հայ դատի հանձնախմբի ղեկավարները առաջին նամակը հղել են ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Մայք Պոմպեոյին և Միացյալ Նահանգների պաշտպանության նախարար Մարկ Էսպերին, իսկ երկրորդը՝ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահներին։ Նրանք նամակում նշել են, որ այդ զորավարժությունները վտանգավոր են, խախտում են դիվանագիտական համաձայնագրերը և կարող են ապակայունացնել անվտանգությունը Հարավային Կովկասում այն ժամանակ, երբ կորոնավիրուսը հարյուր հազարավոր կյանքեր է խլել։
Նրանք նամակներում կոչ են արել ԱՄՆ վարչակազմին և ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահներին հրապարակայնորեն դատապարտել Ադրբեջանում անցկացվող զորավարժությունները:
Ֆրանկ Փալոնը և Հայ դատի հանձնախմբի ղեկավարները պետքարտուղար Պոմպեոյին և պաշտպանության նախարար Էսպերին հասցեագրված նամակում նաև անհանգստություն են հայտնել ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից Ադրբեջանի անվտանգության ոլորտին 100 մլն դոլար օգնություն տրամադրելու վերաբերյալ։
