Սաքսոֆոն. հեղափոխություն երաժշտական գործիքների պատմության մեջ

Սաքսոֆոնը պարզ լեզվակավոր մետաղյա փողային գործիք է կոնաձև փողով, ընդլայնված և դեպի վեր թեքված փողաբերանով։ Այս երաժշտական գործիքի պատմությունը սկսվել է 19-րդ դարից: Սաքսոֆոնը նախագծվել է 1840 թվականին Ֆրանսիայում՝ բելգիացի երաժշտական գործիքների վարպետ Ադոլֆ Սաքսի կողմից և արտոնագրվել է չորս տարի անց։ 

Հենց այդ պատճառով էլ գործիքը կոչվել է «saxophone», այսինքն՝ «Sax» ստեղծողի անվանը միացված հունարեն «phone» բառը, որը նշանակում է հնչյուն: Առաջին սաքսոֆոնների վրա եղել են երկու իրարից առանձին օկտավային փականներ, երեք կողային փական՝ ձախ ձեռքի, մեկ փական՝ աջ ձեռքի համար և մեկ լրացուցիչ փական՝ ձախ ձեռքի ցուցամատի համար: Սաքսոֆոնի ցուպը (трость) և լկամը (мунштук) շատ նման են կլառնետի ցուպին և լկամին: Այս գործիքը համարվում է պղնձյա և փայտյա փողային գործիքների միջանկյալ տեսակ (քանի որ սաքսոֆոնը մետաղյա է, իսկ ցուպը՝ փայտյա)։ 

Սաքսոֆոնը ունի թավ, հյութեղ, ինքնատիպ տեմբր, որ ավելի մոտ է փայտյա փողայիններին, ունի լիարժեք և հզոր հնչողություն և մեծ տեխնիկական շարժունակություն։ Ադոլֆ Սաքսը հանդիսանում է նաև պղնձյա փողային գործիքների սաքսոֆոնային ընտանիքի՝ սաքսոգոռների ստեղծող։ 

Սաքսոֆոնների ընտանիքը բաղկացած է հիմնականում 7 գործիքից՝ սոպրանինո, սոպրանո, ալտ, տենոր, բարիտոն, բաս, կոնտրաբաս, որոնք ունեն հաջորդաբար մի-բեմոլ և սի-բեմոլ լարվածք։ 

Որպես սոլո գործիք՝ առավել տարածված է ալտ սաքսոֆոնը։ Այժմ Ֆրանսիայում այն փողոցը, որտեղ ստեղծվել է սաքսոֆոնը, կրում է Ադոլֆ Սաքսի անունը։ Սաքսոֆոնի պատմության մեջ նշանակալից է 1890 թվականը, երբ Ֆրանսիական «Lecomte» ընկերությունը լուրջ կառուցվածքային փոփոխություն է կատարել սաքսոֆոնի կառուցվածքում՝ տեղադրելով զույգված օկտավային փականներ, որը լավացրել է գործիքի տեխնիկական շարժունակությունը: 

Հետագայում վիրտուոզ-սաքսոֆոնիստ Լեֆեբրի և ամերիկյան «Conn» ընկերության համագործակցության արդյունքում սաքսոֆոնի վրա ավելացել է մի-բեմոլ 3-րդ օկտավային փականը: Ներկայումս էլ երաժշտական գործիքներ արտադրող ընկերությունները անընդհատ կատարելագործում են սաքսոֆոնը: 19-րդ դարի կեսերից սաքսոֆոնը գործածվել է փողային, հազվադեպ՝ սիմֆոնիկ նվագախմբերում, ինչպես նաև որպես սոլո գործիք՝ նվագախմբի ուղեկցությամբ։ 

Սաքսոֆոնը օգտագործվում է և՛ դասական, և՛ ջազային երաժշտության մեջ ու հիմնականում երկու ոլորտներում էլ գտնվում է մենակատարի դերում։ Սաքսոֆոնային ջազի նախահայրերից մեկը Չարլի Պարկերն է. նրա օրոք սաքսոֆոնը դարձել է ամենահայտնի ջազային գործիքներից մեկը։ Առաջին անգամ օպերայում սաքսոֆոնը ներգրավել է Ջորջ Գերշվինը։ 

Առաջին անգամ հայկական սիմֆոնիկ և օպերային ստեղծագործություններում սաքսոֆոնը ներգրավել է Արամ Խաչատրյանը։ Ներկայումս սաքսոֆոնը հանդիսանում է ջազի և դրան հարակից ժանրերի, ինչպես նաև էստրադային երաժշտության հիմնական գործիքներից մեկը։
