Սիրիայի հակամարտության կարգավորման հեռանկարների շուրջ բանակցությունների նոր փուլը կարող է տեղի ունենալ Նյու Յորքում դեկտեմբերի կեսին: Այս կարծիքը լրագրողների հետ զրուցելիս հայտնել է ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Պան Գի Մունը:
Հարցին՝ կարող է արդյոք այդ հանդիպումը կայանալ դեկտեմբերի 18-ին, նա նշել է, որ «մասնակից պետությունները շատ սերտորեն կոորդինացնում են ջանքերը, որպեսզի Վիեննայի գործընթացի շրջանակներում երրորդ հանդիպումը կայանա Նյու Յորքում»: «Ես դա ակնկալում եմ»,- հավելել է նա:
Պան Գի Մունն ընդգծել է Վիեննայի գործընթացի կարեւորությունը, որը միտված է սիրիական ճգնաժամի կարգավորման ուղիներ գտնելուն: «Առաջին անգամ այն երկրները, որոնք միասին չէին նստում բանակցությունների սեղանի շուրջ, այժմ հավաքվում են եւ դեմառդեմ քննարկում այդ հարցերը,- նշել է հլխավոր քարտուղարը:- Ես ակնկալում եմ, որ բոլորի համառ աշխատանքը եւ շահագրգիռ կողմերի բանակցությունները կբերեն համազգային հրադադարի, ցանկալի է՝ արդեն հունվարի սկզբին: Այդ ժամանակ կծառանա ընտրությունների անցկացման «ճանապարհային քարտեզի» մշակման հարցը», հաղոր դել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
