 Հունաստանը Եվրամիության օգնությանն է դիմել այն բանից հետո, երբ Մակեդոնիայի հետ նրա հյուսիսային սահմանում կուտակվել են հազարավոր միգրանտներ ու փախստականներ, տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC-ին:

Մակեդոնիան ընդունում է միայն Սիրիայի, Իրաքի եւ Աֆղանստանի քաղաքացիներին, որոնք փախել են իրենց երկրներում շարունակվող զինված հակամարտություններից, մինչդեռ դա առաջացնում է էթնիկական մյուս խմբերի ներկայացուցիների դժգոհությունը: Դեկտեմբերի 3-ին Մակեդոնիայի ոստիկանությունը հարկադրված է եղել արցունքաբեր գազ կիրառել սահմանային անցակետն ազատելու անհաջող փորձից հետո, որն արգելափակել էին բողոքների մասնակիցները:

Ներկայում Մակեդոնիայի եւ Հունաստանի միջեւ սահմանում կուտակվել է շուրջ 5 հազար մարդ:

Դեկտեմբերի 4-ին ԵՄ-ի երկրների ներքին գործերի նախարարները կանցկացնեն հանդիպում, որտեղ պլանավորվում է քննարկել այն միգրանտների հոսքը վերահսկելու Հունաստանի հնարավորությունները, որոնք ուղեւորվում են Հյուսիսային Եվրոպա:

Հանդիպման նախօրյակին դրա մասնակիցները ողջունել են ԵՄ-ի սահմանների պահպանության Frontex գործակալության եւ European aid-ի օգնությունն ընդունելու Հունաստանի որոշումը:

Այս տարի Հունաստան է ժամանել գրեթե 600 հազար միգրանտ, որոնք նավակներով եկել են հիմնականում Թուրքիայից: Երկրի իշխանությունները պնդում են, որ արդեն շուրջ 1 մլրդ եվրո են ծախսել ճգնաժամի լուծման համար:
