Բարբարա Սթրեյզանդը ֆիլմ Է նկարահանելու Եկատերինա Երկրորդի մասին

 Ամերիկացի դերասանուհի Բարբարա Սթրեյզանդը 1996 թվականից ի վեր առաջին անգամ ռեժիսորական աթոռին կվերադառնա հանուն ռուս կայսրուհի Եկատերինա Մեծի մասին ֆիլմի նկարահանման, հաղորդում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով The Hollywood Reporter-ին:

Ինչպես նշվում Է, որպես կինոժապավենի պրոդյուսեր հանդես կգա Ջիլ Նեթերը, որն ավելի վաղ աշխատել Է «Ջուր՝ փղերին», «Պիի կյանքը», «Լավագույն ընկերոջ հարսանիքը» եւ «Որտե՞ղ Է իմ ձեռնասայլակը, ախպերս» ֆիլմերի վրա: Սցենարի վրա, որը 2014 թվականին գլխավորել Է արտադրության չթույլատրվածների շարքում լավագույնների ցուցակը, աշխատել Է Քրիստիան Լորեն Անդերսենը:

Սյուժեի կենտրոնում երիտասարդ Եկատերինան Է, որը նոր միայն պետք Է գահ բարձրանա: «Ամենաազդեցիկ կին ռեժիսորներից մեկը ձեռնամուխ կլինի ամենաազդեցիկ կին կառավարողներից մեկի պատմությանը»,-նշում Է հրատարակությունը:

Ինչպես ճշտում Է The Hollywood Reporter-ը, ֆիլմի վրա աշխատանքը դեռ չի սկսվել:

Բարբարա Սթրեյզանդը հոլիվուդյան հայտնի դերասանուհի Է, ռեժիսոր եւ պրոդյուսեր: Նա խաղացել Է ավելի քան 20 ֆիլմերում, այդ թվում՝ կատարել Է Ֆանի Բրայսի դերը «Ծիծաղելի աղջիկը» ժապավենում, որի համար «Օսկար» Է ստացել: Ընդհանուր առմամբ նրա մասնակցությամբ ֆիլմերն այդ մրցանակի համար անվանակարգվել են 14 անգամ:

Սթրեյզանդը եղել Է նաեւ երեք ֆիլմերի ռեժիսոր, որոնցից վերջինը դարձել Է 1996 թվականին նկարահանված «Հայելին երկու դեմք ունի» ժապավենը: Ֆիլմը ջերմորեն են ընդունել կինոքննադատները եւ հանդիսատեսները, եւ այն ներկայացվել Է միանգամից մի քանի հեղինակավոր կինոպարգեւների:
