Հայաստանի բոլոր իշխանություններն ունեցել են նույն "բնավորությունը"՝ իրենց ձախողումների մեղքը բարդել ընդդիմության, իրենց քաղաքականությունը քննադատող քաղաքացիների համար։ Ընդ որում՝ կարևոր չէ, այդ իշխանությունները ձևավորված են եղել օրինակա՞ն, թե՞ կեղծված ընտրություններով։
1998-ի հեղաշրջումից հետո Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանն ու հանրապետականները "ռևանշիստներն" էին անվանում ոչ միայն Լևոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանի կողմնակիցներին, այլ նաև՝ բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր որևէ կապ չունեին առաջին նախագահի հետ։ Բայց եթե չլինեին այդ "ռևանշիստները", նրանց զրկանքները, հնարավոր չէր լինի ամբողջովին բացահայտել երկրորդ ու երրորդ նախագահների ապաշնորհ քաղաքականությունը, մանիպուլյացիայով համեմված ավտորիտարիզմը։
2018-ի հեղափոխությունն ու իրապես լեգիտիմ ընտրությունները քաղաքական մշակույթի մեջ ոչինչ չեն փոխել։ Հիմա էլ "ռևանշիստ" են ոչ միայն Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը, Սերժ Սարգսյանը ու նրանց թիմերը, այլ նաև՝ խորհրդարանական այսօրվա ընդդիմությունն ու բոլոր այն մարդիկ, ովքեր քննադատում են օրվա իշխանությունը։
Եթե մի խորհրդարանում ընդդիմադիր խմբակցություններից մեկի ղեկավարին ծեծում են, իսկ ընդդիմության փաստացի առաջնորդի դեմ քաղաքական հետապնդում են հարուցում, ապա ակնհայտորեն իշխանությունը գնում է ավտորիտարիզմի ճանապարհով ու կասկածի տակ է դնում հենց հաջորդ ընտրությունների օրինականությունը, որովհետև ցանկացած ռեպրեսիա փոխում է իշխանության սոցիալական բազան՝ դրա միջուկը դարձնելով ուժայիններին։
Երեկ Սերժ Սարգսյանի "սրտի դատախազը" իր անմնացորդ նվիրումն էր ցույց տալիս նոր "տիրոջը"՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին ու սա խորհրդանշական իրադարձություն է։
Գագիկ Ծառուկյանն էլ, թերևս, կկալանավորվի։ Վատ որոշում է, քաղաքական հետապնդման ակտ, սակայն առանց նման ակտերի ամբողջովին չի կարող բացահայտվել այսօրվա իշխանության սնանկությունը։ Նիկոլի "մեղավորների" ցուցակը սպառվում է ու դրանից հետո տեղի է ունենալ նրա ու հասարակության "առերեսումը", որից հետո ցանկացած իշխանություն դառնում է "մեղադրյալ"
