SOCIETYԵվրահանձնաժողովը համաշխարհային առաջնորդներին կոչ է արել համագործակցել՝ մեծ քանակությամբ COVID-19-ի դեմ պոտենցիալ պատվաստանյութերի ձեռք բերման համար՝ պատվաստանյութերի մրցավազքում «վնասակար մրցակցությունից» խուսափելու եւ ապագա պատվաստանյութի հասանելիությունն աղքատ երկրների համար ապահովելու նպատակով, փոխանցում է Reuters-ը:
Հարուստ երկրները շտապում են դեղագործական ընկերություններից նախապես գնել դեղաչափերը՝ համոզվելու համար, որ բավականաչափ պաշարներ կունենան հաջողության դեպքում:
Եվրահանձնաժողովն մտահոգված է առ այն, որ նման մրցակցությունը կարող է բարձրացնել պատվաստանյութերի գները բոլորի համար, ինչպես նաեւ ստիպել է շատ երկրների, հիմնականում՝ աղքատ, պայքարել մատակարարումների համար:
«Երբ խոսքը գլոբալ համաճարակի դեմ պայքարի մասին է, առաջինը լինելն անտեղի է»,- ասել է ԵԽ նախագահ Ուրսուլա ֆոն դեր Լեյենը:
ԵՄ-ն նախատեսում է մոտ 2 միլիարդ եվրո ծախսել պատվաստանյութերի նախնական գնման վրա:
ԵՄ երկրները նույնպես իրենց սեփական նախաձեռնություններն են իրականացնում. Գերմանիան, Ֆրանսիան, Իտալիան եւ Նիդեռլանդներն անցյալ շաբաթ պայմանագիր են կնքել պատվաստանյութի մշակմամբ զբաղվող AstraZeneca ընկերության հետ:
Վաշինգտոնը հասկացրել է, որ COVID-19- ի դեմ պատվաստանյութերի հետ կապված առաջնահերթություն է տալիս իր քաղաքացիներին:
Ֆոն դեր Լայենն ասել է, որ փորձում է համոզել համաշխարհային առաջնորդներին «զգալի մասին» համախմբել ուժերը եւ միասին պատվաստանյութեր ձեռք բերել:
