Ինչպե՞ս թեյը հայտնվեց փաթեթիկների մեջ, և արդյո՞ք այդպիսի թեյն իրոք անորակ է
ՀԱՆՐԱՀԱՅՏ ՄՈԼՈՐՈՒԹՅՈՒՆՆԵՐՄոտ 100 տարի առաջ է սկսվել թեյի փաթեթիկի պատմությունը: Սկզբում թեյը փաթեթավորվում էր թիթեղյա տուփերում (ներկայումս էլ դեռևս կարելի է խանութների դարակաշարերին տեսնել նման փաթեթավորմամբ թեյեր): Թիթեղյա տուփերը պաշտպանել են թեյը արևի լույսից, խոնավությունից և օդի հետ շփումից, որոնք կարող են վնասել այն: Սակայն նյույորքցի գործարար Թոմաս Սալլիվանը 1904 թվականին որոշել է փոխել թեյի փաթեթավորումը և սկսել է իր ապրանքը փաթեթավորել մետաքսյա տոպրակների մեջ: Իսկ հաճախորդները, շփոթվելով նման փաթեթավորման տեսքից, երբեմն առանց փաթեթը բացելու սկսել են այն գցել թեյի գավաթի մեջ ...
Եվ, ի զարմանս նրանց, ստացվել է բավականին հաճելի թեյ: Դրանից 15 տարի անց սկսվել է թեյի փաթեթիկների գործարանային արտադրությունը և խանութներում դրանց վաճառքը: Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմի ժամանակ նման թեյը հազվագյուտ ըմպելիք է համարվել Միացյալ Թագավորությունում, իսկ դրանից հետո արդեն նոր փաթեթիկներով թեյերի ներկրումը մեծ հաջողություն է ունեցել։
Այդ փաթեթիկները ներկայացվել են «Լիփթոն» ընկերության կողմից։ Սակայն այդքանով թեյի փաթեթիկների պատմությունը չի ավարտվել, անգամ կարելի է ասել՝ այն նոր է սկսվել: Փաթեթիկների նյութն ու ձևը ինքնին շատ անգամներ են փոփոխվել: Ժամանակի ընթացքում թանկարժեք մետաքսը փոխարինվել է թանզիֆով, ինչը, սակայն, թեյին տվել է թեթևակի տհաճ համ: Այդ իսկ պատճառով շարունակվել են փաթեթիկների համար նոր նյութեր գտնելու աշխատանքները, և վերջապես այն գտնվել է: Նոր նյութը, որը հատուկ թուղթ է, հորինել է ամերիկացի ինժեներ Ֆեյ Օսբորնը, որն աշխատել է թղթի գործարանում:
Ի սկզբանե այդ թղթի հիմքում ընկած է եղել մանիլական կանեփը, այնուհետև սկսել է օգտագործվել վիսկոզան, որը հիանալիորեն ջրաթափանց է և միևնույն ժամանակ թրջվելիս չի կորցնում իր ամրությունը: Փոխվել են նաև փաթեթիկներ արտադրելու ձևերը. քանի որ նախկինում դրանք կտորից էին, ուղղակի կարվում էին, իսկ հիմա, երբ նրանք հատուկ բարակ թղթից են, կիրառվում է տաք մամլումը: Միևնույն ժամանակ, թեյի փաթեթիկներում համը դարձել է ավելի ընդգրկուն և թունդ, քան սովորական տերևային թեյի դեպքում է: Այս փաստի առթիվ էլ հենց մարդկանց մոտ կասկածներ են ծագում առ այն, որ փաթեթիկներում բնական թեյ չէ, այլ պարզապես թեյի թափոններ, որոնք վերածված են նուրբ փոշու:
Իրականում, տերևային թեյերից փաթեթիկներով թեյերը տարբերվում են միայն տերևի մանրացման աստիճանով: Բացի դա, սովորաբար փաթեթիկներով թեյերը պատրաստվում են թեյի հատուկ տեսակից՝ fannings-ից:
Այդ թեյի տերևները չափերով ավելի մանր են, քան ավանդական թեյի տերևները: Իսկ փաթեթիկներով թեյերի բույրը և գույնը ավելի ուժեղ է այն պատճառով, որ ինչքան մանրեցված է թեյը, այնքան արագ են եռացող ջրի մեջ անցնում թեյի տերևի միկրոտարրերը և, որպես արդյունք, ստացվում է ավելի թունդ ու հագեցած ըմպելիք:
