 Ներկայացուցիչների պալատը հաստատեց պաշտպանության հատկացումների օրինագծում փոփոխությունների մասին փաթեթը, որը ներառում է Հայկական հանձնախմբի համանախագահի առաջարկը

ԱՄՆ Ներկայացուցիչների պալատը ընդունեց 2021թ. Ազգային պաշտպանության հատկացումների մասին օրինագծում օրենսդրականմի շարք փոփոխությունների փաթեթը: Կոնգրեսի Հայկական հանձնախմբի համանախագահ Ֆրենկ Փալոնի առաջ քաշած փոփոխության օրինագիծը, կապված ամերիկյան ռազմական օգնության հետ, ընդգրկված էր Ազգային պաշտպանության հատկացումների մասին օրինագծի փաթեթում:

Փալոնի առաջարկած փոփոխությունը նախատեսում է, որ ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության նախարարությունը, համագործակցելով պետքարտուղարության հետ, պետք է զեկույց ներկայացնի Կոնգրեսին՝ «Գործընկերների կարողությունների ամրապնդում» պաշտպանության նախարարության ծրագրի 333-րդ կետով ամերիկյան ռազմական օգնություն ստացած օտարերկրյա պետությունների ռազմական զորամիավորումների մասին, որոնց նկատմամբ առկա է կասկած, որ դրանք խախտում են միջազգային իրավունքը կամ մարդու իրավունքների դրույթները ռազմական օգնություն ստանալուց առաջ կամ ընթացքում: Զեկույցը կներառի նաև մարդու իրավունքների բարելավմանն ուղղված առաջարկություններ, որոնք կնպաստեն այս տեսակի խախտումների կանխմանը:
