Աշխարհի ամենաթեթև պինդ նյութը՝ աերոգել
ՀԱՆՐԱՀԱՅՏ ՄՈԼՈՐՈՒԹՅՈՒՆՆԵՐՄարդու ստեղծած ամենաանսովոր նյութերից մեկը և միևնույն ժամանակ աշխարհի ամենաթեթև պինդ նյութը աերոգելն է: Այն տեսքով եթերային է, կարող է ներկված լինել տարբեր գույներով, իսկ շոշափելիս, կարծես թե, կարծրացած փրփուր լինի: Աերոգելն իր հատկությունների համադրությունների շնորհիվ օգտագործվում է տարբեր ոլորտներում՝ սկսած շինարարությունից մինչև էլեկտրոնիկա և տիեզերական արդյունաբերություն: Այդ անսովոր նյութը ստացվում է սիլիցիտի, մետաղական օքսիդների, ածխաջրածինների, պոլիմերների և ածխածնի հիմքով:
Ըստ էության, այն կոլոիդ լուծույթ է, որը հատուկ պայմաններում փոխակերպվել է ամորֆ վիճակի այնպես, որի խեժային բաղադրիչը խառնվում է գազի հետ: Այն ունի ծակոտկեն կառուցվածք, և նրա պինդ մասսան կազմում է ընդհանուր զանգվածի մոտ 1%-ը:
Այս ամենաթեթև պինդ նյութի ստեղծման հարցում ամենամեծ ավանդն ունի քիմիկոս Ստեֆան Քիստլերը, որը 1931 թվականին հանրությանը ներկայացրել է իր աշխատանքների արդյունքները:
Նա անցկացրել է գիտափորձ, որի ընթացքում տաքացրել է գելը, որը հեղուկի փոխարեն պարունակել է մեթանոլ: Արդյունքում մեթանոլը գոլորշիացել է, իսկ գելը դարձել պինդ մարմին, ընդ որում, առանց փոխելու իր ծավալը:
Աերոգելը ջերմակայուն է, թափանցիկ և ունի լավ էլեկտրական հաղորդունակություն: Աերոգելի պնդությունը քիչ է տարբերվում այլ թեթև պինդ մարմիններից, բայց խտությունը մոտ է գազերի խտությանը:
Օրինակ՝ սիլիկատային աերոգելի խտությունը մոտ 2 մգ/սմ3 է, ինչը երեք անգամ պակաս է ոչ ծակոտկեն պինդ նյութերից: Աերոգելի ադսորբցիոն հատկությունը հնարավորություն է տվել այն օգտագործել որպես խտացուցիչ նապալմային ռումբերի, ներկերի արտադրության մեջ և այլն:
Աերոգելն ունի նաև չափազանց ցածր ջերմային հաղորդունակություն: Աշխարհի ամենաթեթև պինդ նյութի հավասարապես կարևոր հատկությունն է դրա արտառոց ծակոտկենությունը, որի պատճառով էլ այն մեծ կիրառություն է գտել տիեզերական տեխնոլոգիաներում:
Մինչև 2000-ականների սկիզբը բոլոր աերոգելերի հիմնական թերությունը եղել է փխրունությունը: Սակայն ածխածնային նյութից այնպիսի նոր նյութերի ստեղծումը, ինչպես գրաֆենն ու ածխածնային նանխողովակները, հնարավորություն է տվել ստանալ պլաստիկ և հարվածակայուն աերոգելեր:
Չնայած աերոգելի գյուտը մոտ հարյուր տարվա պատմություն ունի, բայց ներկայումս էլ դրա օգտագործումը շատ սահմանափակ է: Առաջին հերթին դա պայմանավորված է այդ նյութի շատ բարձր գնով, քանի որ աերոգելի արտադրությունը թանկ և խիստ թունավոր պրոցես է: Արդյունքում, բնականաբար, աերոգելի պահանջարկը առայժմ այնքան էլ մեծ չէ:
