Իրաքի հյուսիսում զորքեր տեղակայելով՝ Թուրքիան վտանգի տակ է դնում տարածաշրջանային անվտանգությունը: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ վկայակոչելով ռուսական ՏԱՍՍ-ը, այս մասին հայտարարել է Իրանի փոխարտգործնախարար Հուսեյն Ամիր Աբդոլլահինը: «Թուրքիայի կառավարության կողմից նման քայլը ոչ միայն չի օգնի ջախջախել ահաբեկչությունը, այլև կհանգեցնի քաոսի և վտանգի տակ կդնի ողջ տարածաշրջանը»,- Press TV-ի հետ հարցազրույցում ասել է փոխարտգործնախարարը:

Նա ընդգծել է, որ այլ երկրների կողմից ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարին միանալը ենթադրում է համագործակցություն իրաքյան կառավարության հետ: «Իրանը կարծում է, որ եթե նման միջոցառումներն իրականացվում են առանց Իրաքի հետ համաձայնեցման, ապա դրանք հակասում են տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության սկզբունքին»,- ասել է Աբդոլլահինը:

Թուրքիան դեկտեմբերի 5-ին Իրաքի հյուսիսում, որտեղ տեղակայված են քրդական փեշմերգայի (քրդական ուժեր) ճամբարները, տեղայակայել է իր զորքերը, այդ թվում 130 զինծառայող, տանկ և զրահատեխնիկա: Թուրքական կողմի հավաստմամբ՝ այդպես նրանք պատրաստվում են հարձակվել Մոսուլի վրա, որը գրավել են ԻՊ ծայրահեղականները: Իրաքի ԱԳՆ-ն իր մոտ է կանչել Բաղդադում Թուրքիայի դեսպանին ու պահանջել, որ Թուրքիան անմիջապես դուրս բերի իր զորքերը երկրի հյուսիսային շրջաններից: Իրաքի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչությունից հայտարարել են, որ պաշտոնական Անկարան իր զորքերը մտցրել է առանց Բաղդադի հետ համաձայնության, ինչը որակվում է որպես «թշնամական գործողություն»:
