POLITICSԲՀԿ առաջնորդ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը չի կարող անմասն մնալ և օգնության ձեռք չմեկնել հայազգին պատուհասած ցանկացած աղետի ու դժվարությունների ժամանակ: Այս օրերին, երբ աշխարհը ցնցվել է Բեյրութում տեղի ունեցած պայթյունի մասին լուրից, Նա հայտարարել է, որ պատրաստ է գործի դնել իր բոլոր ջանքերը սփյուռքի ամենաամուր և ամենակենսունակ համայնքներից մեկին՝ լիբանանահայերին և բեյրութահայերին այս տագնապալի շրջանում ձեռք մեկնելու և աջակցելու համար:
Կուսակցության առաջնորդը նաև հեռախոսազրույց է ունեցել Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո կաթողիկոս Արամ Առաջինի հետ և իր ցավակցությունն է հայտնել հզոր պայթյունների հետևանքով լիբանանահայերի մահվան կապակցությամբ: Ծառուկյանը նշել է նաև, որ որպես հայ, որպես քրիստոնյա, խորը ցավ է ապրում եղբայրական Լիբանանում տեղի ունեցած ողբերգության համար:
Նա ընդգծել է, որ պատրաստ է գործի դնել իր բոլոր ջանքերը Սփյուռքի ամենաամուր և ամենակենսունակ համայնքերից մեկին տագնապալի այս շրջանում ձեռք մեկնելու և աջակցելու համար: «Գագիկ Ծառուկյան» բարեգործական հիմնադրամը ֆինանսական միջոցներ է հատկացրել Բեյրութի պայթյունից տուժած մեր հայրենակիցներին, համայնքային կառույցներին և Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո կաթողիկոսությանն աջակցելու համար։ Այս քայլը ևս մեկ ապացույց է, որ ԲՀԿ առաջնորդը կանգնած է ոչ միայն հայաստանաբնակ մեր հայրենակիցների, այլև համայն հայության կողքին:
