Նախորդ տարվա օգոստոսի 19-ին վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը ֆեյսբուքյան ուղիղ եթերում հայտարարեց, որ մեր պետության, երկրի շահերից է բխում, որ մեր կողմից առաջադրած լեգիտիմ պայմանը բավարարենք, այսինքն՝ հնարավորություն տանք, որպեսզի Ամուլսարի հանքը շահագործվի: 

 Վարչապետի տեսակետը, սակայն, իշխող «Իմ քայլը» խմբակցությունում ոչ բոլորն են կիսում: Պատգամավորների մի մասն Ամուլսարի շուրջ ստեղծված թնջուկի առաջին օրերին` դեռևս մինչև վարչապետի հայտարարությունն, իրենց տեսակետը հայտնել էին և շարունակում են մնալ նույն կարծիքին՝ Ամուլսարի հանքը չպետք է շահագործվի: Նրանց թվում էին Սոֆիա Հովսեփյանը, Վարազդատ Կարապետյանը, Էդգար Առաքելյանը: 


Սակայն, ուշագրավ է, որ, օրինակ, Ամուլսարի հանքի շահագործման դեմ նախկինում ակտիվորեն հանդես եկած Լենա Նազարյանը այդպես էլ հստակ դիրքորոշում չհայտնեց՝ Նոր Հայաստանում ինքը կո՞ղմ է, թե՞ դեմ հանքի բացմանը: «Իմ քայլի» մեկ այլ պատգամավոր՝ Արգիշտի Մեխակյանը, ով ի սկզբանե դեմ է եղել Լիդիանին հանքի շահագործման թույլտվություն տալուն, գտնում է, որ «այսօր հասել ենք այն գծին, որ չթույլատրելը կարող է շատ ծանր հետևանքներ ունենալ»: 


Նախկին բնապահպան, ներկայումս կրթության փորձագետ դարձած Վահրամ Սողոմոնյանը, ով այսօր ջերմ հարաբերությունների մեջ է գործող իշխանությունների հետ, ժամանակին դեմ էր թե՛ Ամուլսարի, թե՛ Թեղուտի գործարկմանը, այսօր նա լռում է: Սորոսական Դանիել Իոաննիսյանը ժամանակին դեմ էր հանքերի շահագործմանը և ակտիվորեն այդ տեսակետն էր առաջ մղում, այսօր նա նույնպես լռում է:  Լռում են բազմաթիվ բնապահպաններ, ովքեր, թերևս, հեղափոխությունից հետո հաջողացրին կպցնել իրենց բաժին դրամաշնորհը և Հայաստանի բնության ապագայի մասին հարցերը նրանց համար մղվեցին երկրորդ պլան: 


Ինչպես երևում է, վերը թվարկված բոլոր անձանց համար Ամուլսարի հանքի շահագործման դեմ պայքարը ժամանակին պարզապես եղել է քաղաքական դիվիդենտներ հավաքելու, այլ ոչ թե սկզբունքայնության պայքար…
