INTERNATIONAL NEWSԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի վարչակազմի անդամները եւ ԱՄՆ նախագահի թեկնածու Զոն Բայդենը մտահոգություն են հայտնել ընտրությունների ընթացքում Բելառուսում տեղի ունեցած վերջին իրադարձությունների եւ ցուցարարների նկատմամբ կոշտ վերաբերմունքի կապակցությամբ, գրում է Axios-ը:
Մասնավորապես, Բայդենը կոչ է արել ձայների թափանցիկ եւ մանրակրկիտ հաշվարկ անցկացնել, ազատ արձակել ցուցարարներին, որոնց նա քաղբանտարկյալներ է անվանել, եւ Բելառուսի նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Լուկաշենկոյին կոչ է արել հարգել բողոքելու իրավունքը եւ դադարեցնել բռնությունը:
«Նախագահական ընտրություններից հետո, որոնք մթագնվել են կեղծիքներով, խաղաղ ցուցարարները, որոնք պահանջում են ձայների ճշգրիտ հաշվարկ կատարել, այժմ բախվում են ոստիկանների հետ, որոնք լուսաձայնային նռնակներ, արցունքաբեր գազ եւ ռետինե փամփուշտներ են կիրառում»,- ասել է Բայդենը:
Իր հերթին, Սպիտակ տան մամուլի քարտուղար Քայլի Մաքենանին ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ ասել է, որ ԱՄՆ նախագահի աշխատակազմը խորապես անհանգստացած է ընտրությունների եւ խաղաղ ցուցարարների եւ անկախ լրագրողների ձերբակալման կապակցությամբ եւ կոչ է արել երկրի իշխանություններին հրաժարվել ուժի կիրառումից:
Պաշտոնական հայտարարությամբ հանդես է եկել նաեւ ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Մայք Պոմպեոն` նշելով, որ Բելառուսում անցկացվող ընտրություններն «ազատ և արդար» չեն եղել, եւ կոչ է արել երկրի իշխանություններին դադարեցնել ուժ կիրառել ցուցարարների դեմ:
«Մենք խստորեն դատապարտում ենք ցուցարարների նկատմամբ շարունակվող բռնությունները եւ ընդդիմության կողմնակիցների ձերբակալումւ, ինչպես նաեւ` ինտերնետի անջատումը, որպեսզի բելառուսցիները չկարողանան տեղեկություններ հրապարակել ընտրությունների մասին»,- նշվում է ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի հաղորդագրության մեջ:
